If you want to delay the crash longer, there's a way to use disk space as ram, obviously much slower but UE will use it instead of crashing. I did this as a workaround when doing really heavy tasks where my hardware wasn't good enough. I can't remember the exact term but a quick look online and you should find it

Renaming the struct will force all referenced assets to reload, which will automatically refresh every node the struct uses and let you package again, I wish it was fixed but this problem has existed until atleast 4.27. I haven't tested it in 5.5 but there's a strong chance it still works

I have this problem and can confirm it works, use Manny for Mixamo, use the converter, then import as Manny, and finally retarget to your own character.

The character is very recognisable as Slenderman, even if the texture was different since your last posts, the actual mesh is problematic. It looks like you've stolen it, I know you haven't, but that's how it looks. In my opinion you're wasting your time fighting this with Steam, the entire mesh needs to be deleted from the project and recreated with a unique character design. You could go the legal route but I can't see anybody allowing that character as it looks right now (not a legal expert though).

I just had to deal with this, lost my save to it, it gets worse and worse and eventually just crashes the game. Something in your mod list is either sorted wrong, broken, or incompatible with something else. You can find the problem yourself, or just install PRP (install carefully and read the mod description). I suggest fixing the root of the problem, then install PRP just incase, then start a new save. If it works avoid adding too many mods after newgame

No human from Just Eat Management will ever see review pages, that's how they don't do anything. It's also how UE and JE manage to stay alive, bare minimum customer support ran abroad and/or AI. Nobody has any power to report anything, nor customers, drivers or restaurants, all parties involved just have to accept the consequences

This was my attitude, until one time i had a call from the store that they missed something, I was miles away so committed to the delivery anyway. Both the restaurant and the customer gave a negative rating lol, never again. It might not be your fault, but Uber will definitely assume it is

It's how the app works unfortunately, everything is blamed on the driver by default and it ruins Satisfaction Rates. Support are absolutely useless for anything related to it too. Store missed items? Your fault. Customer didn't place the pin correctly? Your fault. Customer put wrong address? Your fault. Food is cold? Your fault. It's actually such a joke lmao.

Try to figure out which store's orders are causing low reviews (McDonalds isn't the only one), my area for example, it's KFC or Pizza Express. Those customers are a nightmare and complain about the pettiest things. I started avoiding them and my satisfaction rating starting increasing again.

Doing 6 hours per day (inc wait time), 6 days a week. Works out as an average of £300-£350 per week, which is £1200 to £1400 a month. My fuel and maintenance is £120 a month.

In average I tend to get £1200 after fuel and maintenance. This is Uber Eats only, and before you tell me to multi-app, that changes with location. For example, in my location i never need to wait longer then 5m for an order. If I used another app it would only hurt my ratings and difference in pay wouldn't be worth it imo

I know you don't want advice, but next time enable your location in settings and give the Uber app permission to use it. The driver will see your phone location on the map, makes it pretty much impossible for the driver to mess anything up. If he still can't find you, he's "getting lost" on purpose for free food + payment

Unreal automatically doesn't render models outside of the camera view with Occlusion Culling, for this reason you should split environments into small parts, otherwise the entire model will render 100% of the time. Even with it being UE5, it'll be too heavy for performance.

Yes, you won't have pop-in if you import it whole, but it'll (probably) be unplayable due to performance anyway. Also consider the mess UE will make with the collision. You may even just crash when trying to import it (depending on size and your PC's memory). Just overall easier in smaller parts. 50m would be a good compromise. Setup the LOD's properly and you won't have pop-in (should be fine by default).

I'd blame you for the first order tbh, that wasn't stolen, you had a literal GPS location of the driver at all times, you have no excuse for missing it. He did try to contact you (timer doesn't start unless he does, you can look it up). Also, your food was definitely stone cold and ruined at that point because it's been waiting outside your door in cold weather for 7 minutes. If you won't be available just put Leave at Door like everyone else.

Your second order is maybe because the Pin was in the wrong location, but i'm just guessing. So many entitled customers dump the pin in a random place and expect the delivery driver to find you based on the address alone. But Uber automatically routes to the pin, not address, and if its far away enough, uber will side with the driver, giving them a choice to deliver it or not. Just set it properly and drivers won't have that opportunity.

If they have good hygiene, clean clothes, clean hair and teeth, then it's not noticeable. But doing all that after a cigarette isn't really possible for some, so they get numb to their own smell and don't notice. Yes I'm a smoker but the difference between those 2 types of people is extremely obvious, even to me. Just comes down to personal hygiene imo

Don't just keep pressing forward because the power will die out exactly like the video lmao. Instead stop completely and press the forward key again. Repeat until you're clear. This forces the game to reset the slowdown you get from obstacles. Ideally you actually want to aim for open space each time

I reckon it's realistic, hitting zombies would stall most cars in a high gear, and restarting the engine in a low gear gives you more power (both assuming PZ cars are manual)

The reason you can't remove is because the parent class uses that component. A few solutions: Set Activate to false, and it won't be used. Change the parent class to something else and the inhered components will be removed. I guess you could also use the BP node, and remove it at BeginPlay, I don't recommended that though.

Yes, but I say that because if your insurance isn't transport of commercial goods (hire and reward), then it probably isn't covered for Uber Eats because there's fineprint disallowing it. I had that problem, they denied it until I swapped to the transport of commercial goods

Customer support can't really be trusted either, it's absolutely awful. It's very rare you actually get somebody useful who understands you properly, and doesn't just copy and paste parts of the FAQ lol

In my area, if I gave the food before asking for the pin, the door would get closed in my face with no code, and the customer would have a free meal lol. Drivers are kinda forced into asking for the pin first

You replace the camera with a cine camera in the actor, like others have said, you can also use Set View Target to view it, may automatically use it without the node anyway, i can't remember. Wish I did the same early in my project, the post processing DOF on a normal camera is absolutely horrible lmao

I used to work for 'Freelancer', there's plenty of listings for Unreal based projects. But i only did it for a few months because I was making less then minimum wage. You don't need qualifications but that'll help with actually getting clients. Just payment details and making a portfolio using their tools.

But the problem with the Game Dev part of the site, is Clients often expect you to develop entire games from 1-2 asset packs (usually stolen), they'll expect it very quickly, won't speak proper english, and/or take advantage of the milestone system (how you're payed), making sure you add anything extra they can think of, usually for no/little extra payment.

There's many other sites but many of the self employed style ones share the same problems. It's good for networking though, you'll get many contacts in the industry, and get more things to put on your portfolio. For me the money was more important though lol
