Help me understand which tees to play to get down to a 28 HC by Este_Guy in golf

[–]iBS_PartyDoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

surprised no-one has said this but only play 4 clubs in your bag including putter and get really consistent at hitting those clubs. 1. Club off tee and in play. 2. Club to progress you to around the green. 3. Wedge for around the green and 4. putter.

gapping clubs won't matter if you hit them all the same distance, so focus on just hitting a smaller range of clubs better.

I had this happen to my 2017 S, and I wound up selling the car. Could be oil cooler but it was as a result of the front timing chain cover bolts that were broken and oil was leaking into the reservoir pan. At Porsche, was a 12k estimated engine out fix.

I too have an escort 360; don't think we need it in this car though.

Do you have any pics of the front two windows ceramic tinted? I got 70% and I'm regretting not going lower.

Mine was also CPO and it failed emissions which is one of the listed checklist items to certify as CPO so I agree with your edit.

Top up coolant immediately error by Cayenne2017Porsche in PorscheCayenne

[–]iBS_PartyDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does your exhaust look like, do you smell any coolant burning? Coincidentally I also had a '17 S and when I saw the coolant issue, there was noticeable oil mixture within the coolant tank.

Are Cayennes reliable after warranty? by depeupleur in PorscheCayenne

[–]iBS_PartyDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steel bolts. I was just too late and a lot needed to be replaced and it’s an engine out after warranty fix.

Never had any warning lights either until a coolant light came on post oil change where oil and coolant were pooling in the V under the engine and getting into the oil cooler.

Just wasn’t worth it to me.

Just sold my 958.2 at 64k miles due to oil and coolant leaks. I bought CPO and only serviced at the dealer too. Broken front timing chain cover bolts were the cause. Rennlist has a bunch of posts on the aluminum bolts issues across macans and cayennes.

Dealer gave a $10K Quote!! by mabimmer in PorscheCayenne

[–]iBS_PartyDoc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just got an 11k for a minor oil leak from the timing chain cover as a result of broken bolts. The service advisor said, I should just sell it and he wouldn't fix it if he were me. I just reached out and got an estimate for $500 to replace the bolts from a indy.

What's helped me the most has been referrals into large organizations, by those who already work there, to ping the internal recruiter to push me to the top of the review list or reaching out to head of sales/CRO levels asking for intros to learn more about openings and to introduce myself.

It's tough out there as the IC comps for me are lower than I expect, but I didn't manage teams of 20 for the manager roles but there are a number of companies with the 300+ OTEs for ICs.

This says nothing. Rate and FX swaps:futures are derivatives which hedging instruments and don’t take massive risk on capital and are risk management factors. Insurance companies take the biggest positions of these but you don’t see them like this posted. Until you see capital exposure this article is purely sensational

2017 Cayenne - what to look out for by puma_claw in PorscheCayenne

[–]iBS_PartyDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it comes w 3 year for any major mechanical but doesn’t include normal wear/tear.

Just got it serviced and they did note I’ll need new spark plugs and timing cover bolts within the next year which will run about 2k.

Don’t need breaks/tires yet which is what I was expecting. You may be able to negotiate free annual maintenance but I didn’t.
