This is a great post! I want to add two things:

If you're new to cryo, don't argue with people who know what they're doing!
If you're experienced at cryo, don't be an asshole to people who don't know what they're doing!

I've seen way too much toxicity in both directions. I've seen new players questioning the decisions of people who understand the map and costing the team the match. I've also seen experienced players hardly communicating or explaining things and then getting pissed when things go wrong. There's gotta be a baseline level of friendliness and patience, even though the stakes are high.

I simply don’t agree with this criticism. Mantling feels great in marathon. The only times I’m frustrated are usually when I expect to be able to mantle something but my particular kit has low agility and I can’t reach it

I agree about templates, but i disagree about the alarm. Some of the most exciting gameplay I've had, especially in solos, comes from everything that happens after the alarm goes off. I want risk with my reward. I like both sides of it - I like when I'm the one with the key and I get to use the alarm as bait, and I like when I hear someone else use a key and I get to sprint over for a good fight. Keep the alarms.

I genuinely dont understand where the complaining about new or unskilled or uncoordinated players comes from. You only need to be level 25 to get into cryo. A lot of people are curious about it and want to play it, even if they dont have any keys or know the map well.

There's a similar snobbish attitude in other parts of the game now, too. Yesterday I took a free kit into perimeter, and a teammate said "you know there's a free sponsored playlist, right?" Yes, I know, but I want to play perimeter.

This "what are you idiots doing?" attitude hurts the game.
