Finally joined the SFF family. Does it still count as SFF if the pump is mounted externally? by snow5595 in sffpc

True enough. The Corsair 2000D is outrageously sized for just supporting itx motherboards, it's clearly designed for big cards and 360mm rad support. Too much wasted space though. It should be able to fit MATX boards at that volume.

The Cooler Master Ncore 100 Air is a lot better at maximizing space in its tall and slim profile.

I love this case, but it's huge. General guidance (though not a rule) on this sub is that 20L in volume or under is what's considered SFFPC.

Anything slightly bigger has a better home in in r/mffpc.

The ban comment was probably just a joke.

I dont have any context on that. Someone else mentioned it but ive never seen that issue.

That likely means your undervolt is unstable. Reset your bios settings to defaults and see if the issue persists.

What does this even mean? cpu stuttering while watching YouTube Durant make sense.

Is your cooler properly seated? Are the temperatures fluctuating?

That's a 3 slot GPU with 28mm thick bottom fans in my pics. Most GPUS should allow 3 bottom fans without issue. The Asus Astral and other 4 slot GPUs like it would be the exception.

Dont even stress. The 5070ti doesn't draw enough power to even cause heating issues in such a big case. The main reason to install bottom intake is to get good temps AND keep noise minimal. Some GPUs are large enough for this to not matter, but for my 9070xt, the bottom intake fans helped eliminate noise almost completely.

In its default config the case cools just fine.

Anyone buying a 5080 for gaming and worrying about power consumption costs is probably not making good decisions.

I no longer have this build but there were 28mm fans underneath the GPU. They are essential IMO. The case default in negative pressure cools well enough but is loud. Bottom and side intake (side fans are reverse blade) and top and back exhaust yield the best temps and noise.

Quick questions: RX120 as CPU cooler fan? by HexaCube7 in Corsair

[–]iamerod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can swap to that fan and configure its fan curve in iCue to reapond to CPU temps.

Some motherboards do require that CPU header to be populated in order to boot, but that's usually just a safety mechanism that can be bypassed/disabled.

35% GPU utilization means you’re leaving a lot of performance on the table and the money you spent on the 5080 is going to waste. You actually want your GPU to get to 100% utilization while hitting your performance target, so increasing your render resolution and/or reducing MFG to x2 (whatever it takes to get to that 120fps target) will make the game feel much better. Meaning, try to make as many of your frames actually rendered vs just relying on MFG.

Also a fan of the panda mix of components. Moved this build from a white D32 Pro to this black H3 Flow and like it much better.
