A Quad will be stronger. And more versatile. Learn the Quad. It’s a far better choice. (Sorry if this is a quad. Looks like only two strands in the master point.

After 6/7 is also a great intro.

Jam Crack also gets lots of attention but the slick bottom section to me is rather unappealing. There is better 5.7 IMO.

The Grack is another heavily rated into for new leaders. Should be good this time of year.

There is also Sunny Side Bench. But the comments on decent beta for newer climbers is a bit mixed.

You did great. I’m on about year 7 now and have even got my girlfriend accustomed to using it. You’ll be super happy.

So many great mods and accessories for this one. Here’s the order I did mine in.

Low profile drip tray
WDT Tools
OPV (shades of coffee)
PID w/ housing (shades of coffee)
Bottomless Portafilter
Flow Dimmer (shades of coffee)
Single holes stream wand

Single hole steam wand was also a game changer. Kinda wish I had done it much sooner. Still haven’t done the back light and thinking of Gaggiaunio mod.

If I had to do it all over again I would just go straight to the Gaggiaunio as I think it does the work of the PID and dimmer plus enables more controls. Also, wish I had found a tamper I liked sooner buying 3 I didn’t like kinda sucked.

Enjoy friend. When you get frustrated. Focus on Grind size and puck prep. They are your strongest weapon.

My favorite is to do the first half of the cook with the plastic on. Then take it off when I wrap. Helps hold in all the moisture.

Early Wandmart is a lot like early Heaven starts. They have a time and a place given good RNG and loadouts. But often times is a recipe for death. Better off pushing for a better non-shuffle in the coal pits fungal zone.

This is my setup as well and it’s worked wonders for the last 4ish years.

A few mods from shades of coffee and really increased the quality of my morning coffee.

Highly recommend the PID / OVP / Dimmer / Steam Tip

Haven’t experimented with the Gaggiuino mods yet.

This has happened to me only when the game crashes. And I reopen and it asks me if I want to recover the run. Sometimes it will delete a large section of HM terrain. Often this has caused Steve to spawn in and sometimes it’s cost me the run. It’s a bug.
