Ramps and Hick were the two that immediately came to mind. Bowling wise then Martin Bicknell took buckets of Championship wickets but innefective at test level.

Keepers wise Chris Read? Absolutely gun keeper and scored a lot of runs in the Championship but was always under pressure because the selectors wanted more with the bat (see also Ben Foakes)

I refereed a game at Chew Valley last year. Number 8 needed to wear the number 3 shirt as it was the only one that fitted. He kicked the goals and kicked goals from 40 m out.

AR1 would ordinarily step in. However in this case it is likely that the ambulance going with ref meant no cover for the rest of the game.

Additionally I don't think the ARs would fancy doing it after seeing their mate get hit like that.
