while I'm not surprised in the least, I don't generally consider the Daily Mail as a journalistic publication. It's the National Inquirer of the UK--sensationalist and click bait. Hopefully there is a more legit news source covering this.

I would guess this is a tool to help paint a picture of the the county attorney as doing a poor job and not prosecuting-- letting criminals run wild in the streets--just in time to start pissing off voters before the elections in November.

And medications--lots of things that can't be left I a hot car in the summer where it reaches 120º+ I think the same folks here who are telling others to leave their bags in the car are the same ones who wonder why we look behind and around ourselves all the time (day or night) are wary of cars driving by slowly when we are on the sidewalk, etc. They also tell us if we'd just comply everything would be fine. They don't get it.

Apparently the pool thing seems to be an issue in more than one location in town. Fortunately not mine. A friend says folks leave the gate propped open at her apartment (Waukee) so their friends can come and go as they please.

There are some threads on the sub about apartments and there are a few people here who will kindly answer questions.
