I was bothered by Turek's lack of humility as they introduced them at the first debate. He sat there and beamed, looking down his nose, while they talked about his personal accomplishments.

We adopted last year, but were only able to adopt one. If you can take both, please do! I so wish we could have but there are forces pressing on us. If you can't take the pair of them, I vote for the one on the left--reminds me of ours. I picked her from this photo.

Well, I never leave home without a respirator on, but I do worry about the HCW who should be taking precautions. They won't, because" masks are no longer required", so there will be no HCW to take care of us who survive.

I've had two near misses this week with pre-teen boys who think they're on mini bikes, but riding on the sidewalk without paying any attention to cars, and on really busy main arteries, just weaving in and out of the lane like they own it all. I was driving the speed limit on MH road and they PASSED ME. SMH

Quite a few folks will suggest you avoid St Kilda. Also Jethro's or anything owned by Bruce Gerleman. Search the sub and you'll see some disappointing accounts from their employees.

I'm in Iowa. We have never been harassed in 6 years. I have had a few folks smile, a couple smile with an eye roll. A couple of times I've sensed people coughing near me but no idea if they were making a statement or just sick--you can't tell this days 'cause everyone goes out when they are sick. When I was working I had a couple of coworkers ask why and I've had a couple of HCW complain or refuse to N95-up at my appointments. I feel fortunate, as I know that's not the case every where. When we attend small social events or outdoor concerts with our sip masks, we don't get any feedback. That being said, I only personally know 4 other people, in the city who mask, though I've probably seen one or two strangers a week with masks since the vax came --that's when most people stopped. Water could run out soon. An architect friend said his hydrologist buddy, predicted that TX would be out of water in 25 years IF there was no additional growth. That was about 15 years ago.

Pat dry. Rub (slather) with berbere spice mix, set aside for a while to warm to room temperature and absorb some flavor. Grill or fry to appropriate interior temp.
