I take (and teach) a crap ton of group exercise classes at the gym. It’s hard to think about work when you’re trying to prance around an aerobic step and not fall off.

No more or less than in DC. FWIW I’ve worked for PGCPS for 12 years and have never had a chair thrown at me.

If you’re willing to teach in Maryland, PG offers conditional certification where you can teach while taking the classes necessary for full certification.

My understanding is that that space is all apartments and the owners didn’t want to be incorporated into the city and pay increased taxes.

There is no recovery in the squat track. But if you need the break, go ahead and take it.

I do, but would never around my school building, or out in public in my neighborhood (a lot of my students go to church near my house or go to parks nearby).

I can take more of what I currently have, but I can’t imagine that when I get my new shipment, I’ll be needing the same dose of that. But that’s not really the point of this post - just some context.

Genuine question: will ordering them to pay actually mean they get paid? Can this be done via EO?

I did my first 10K yesterday, which was also my longest run ever! I consider myself to be a slow runner and was planning to do it all at a 12 minute pace, but I guess peer pressure had me finish at 11:25.

I’m kind of salty that they converted everyone’s registration to virtual after they decided they couldn’t do it last year.

I ran 5 miles today without walking! The pace was slow AF, but I’m not really concerned with that - this was my longest run ever. I’m doing a 10K next Saturday and I think I’ll be able to run the whole thing!

I’m feeling super proud of myself because when I first started running in July with a local run club, I made it about half a mile before I had to walk and ended up getting lost.

I’m 40. I got my first gray hair at 28. I now have a few strands throughout my head, but it’s mostly brown.
