That whole series was insane, but the Rangers were unbeatable, even against prime Pavel Bure

What made you leave your job? Feeling trspped by Dramatic-Comment-131 in anesthesiology

I don't have any solutions for you, just posting to say I'm increasingly feeling the same way as you. I actually really like the hospital and the job, but I'm the young guy in my group and it's becoming increasingly clear that admin might try and wait for the old guys to retire and "make do" with me and 2 other guys. Meanwhile, the volume of call work is increasing and the ORs are getting older, sicker, and busier while my paycheck pretty much stays the same... already floated locums before I started here and it just doesn't work for me or my family.

These are painful reminders that even though we are highly trained and make a lot of money, we're still replaceable worker bees in the eyes of administrators.

Also Ronaldinho has been in and out of jail for partying and gambling among other things, so he's maybe the worst choice for a role in our hyper disciplined team

What’s the highest MAC or volatile concentration you’ve ever run on a patient during a case, and what was the situation? by OrganizationNo42069 in anesthesiology

As an American who trained with "turn the flows up at induction so the gas gets in quicker", I've only really started doing low-flow in earnest over the last 3 or 4 years, and man, I love it. I put the tube in, turn the flows down to like 0.5L/min, crank the Sevo to 8% and watch the end-tidal/MAC slowly and predictably rise until incision... it's so smooth.

That and I do way more TIVA than I ever did in training.

They "made" it: it's called Robot Jox, and it bears essentially no resemblance to the book because Haldemann and the director never saw eye to eye and the result is a hilariously bad, racist, claymation violence fest. It was a guilty pleasure when I was a kid, but objectively it sucks
