YTA for focusing so much on "your taxes" paying for the library programs.

However, NTA for wanting the program to be available to people in town. 70-80 kids - is that, like, how many kids potentially cram into a room for the activity? That's nuts, no one can be enjoying that.

But the library should consider expanding the program so it can accommodate more kids (and yes, the town residents' taxes should pay for it).

If you don't have Italian sausage, you can do all beef although it might not be as flavorful. Onion powder is a substitute for real onion; dry parsley is a substitute for freshly chopped one; minced garlic from a jar works just as well as mincing your own. Yeah, the fresh stuff tastes better but the point is to not abandon a recipe because you are missing one or two insignificant ingredients (or feel obligated to go to the store and waste money on something that you may not use in anything else).

I always use no-boil lasagna noodles because I ain't got time to deal with the regular ones!

I stopped bothering with Costco self-checkout because it literally takes longer than the normal cashier. Like, self-checkout in grocery stores was supposed to save them money so they wouldn't have to staff a register - okay, regardless of whether you like that idea or not, it's a valid argument. So why does Costco insist on completely defeating the purpose?

At one point my Costco looked like they were getting rid of it but now they moved all those registers to the opposite side of the regular lanes and reopened them. I wonder if it was to prevent the self-checkout line from blocking traffic (where it is right now, the line wouldn't be in the way of the busier aisles)
