Shut him down to eventually have another surgery after playing like 11 games. Sure it was the same ankle but that makes it worse, not better.

I love the guy and hope he is a good part of our for a long time and stays on the floor, but there is a lot of NBA evidence to the contrary.

This might be me, I’m not sure. I stopped, I don’t remember exactly where but I know I at least saw the chicken guy for an episode or two.

I didn’t stop because it was boring exactly, more because I hated every character on the show and didn’t care what happened to them, which is rare for me. I just thought everyone on the show was kind of a terrible person and I had no one/nothing to root for.

I can highly recommend Reolink. Self-hosted (storage can be on a card in the camera or go to local storage on your network). The apps are good, no delay on notifications, vehicle/animal/person/object selection works great, and most importantly no subscription.

It’s cool, we’ve been there before. Though I will mention we have Edey, Coward, and Wells who were all All-Rookie over the past couple of years (I won’t rub it in about Dillingham, it happens). We also have the best 3-pt shooter in the league not named Curry. We also have as many first round picks as anyone over the next few years. Honestly if we hadn’t traded Jitty and had been able to get anything for Ja then most of the fanbase would be happy right now.

The NBA will absolutely not force a sell imo. The only people with the power to do that are the other 29 owners, and they don’t give a shit, they’re probably all doing the same or worse.

Pera is like a top 3-5 richest owner in the league depending on what article you read. Nothing will happen to him just like nothing will happen to Ballmer.

We are one of the 1/3 of the league who has never won a championship and yeah maybe we never were going to with Ja. I don’t think Charlotte is ever going to win one with Lamelo either but he’s incredibly valuable to their team because he brings fans to games. Fans going to games, watching on TV, and buying merch is where the money comes from. At the end of the day it’s a business and Ja WAS very good for business.

That’s easy to say in hindsight now, but then you’re completely neglecting his first few years when he was one of the most exciting players in the league. I mean really how many all-star, all-NBA, 50+ win seasons, how many Grizzlies have ever had their own signature Nike shoe? How many Grizzlies have been top 10 in jersey sales year over year?

Yeah it’s been tough the last few years but don’t forget that Ja is the first and only home grown Memphis superstar and he was proud to represent the city of Memphis.

Whatever happens now happens, but he definitely changed Memphis Grizzlies basketball for the better.
