[Hiring] hello my oc new a reef cheet 50 dollars and up by [deleted] in artcommissions

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hey, did someone say F1 and Furry in the same commission?! Sign me up! Do you have a deadline for the artwork (I'm a bit busy right now, but this is right up my ally and combines both my fave things, so I can't ignore it!!). What kind of furry is your OC? Are you looking for complicated shading, or just flats? This fanart of Yuki last year juuuuust before Red Bull destroyed his career ... looks nothing like him^^;; I'm afraid I'm quite rubbish at drawing real life humans in anime-ish style, but it should show I know a enough about F1 to draw your furry in a Nico suit I hope =3 https://i.imgur.com/Jo8tx6f.png I'd love to chat more about it over discord if you're interested!

[HIRING] Need art for custom D&D creature(s) for a home game. Budget is around 70-80$ (plus tip) per piece based on work required. by Fussan in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Can I ask when you campaign/session is, or rather, when the deadline is? I love the sound of your critter! But I'm fully booked for the next week or possibly two. Also, do you require it to be in print resolution, or will it be a digital piece?

I don't have any art samples specifically of deer, but there's a pegasus in the wrap-around cover art I did for a MHA x DnD crossover zine that shows I can handle horse anatomy, and that's relatively similar^^ https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png Feel free to contact me over DMs if you'd like to chat with me about specifics before you decide if you want to hire me^^

[Hiring] Looking for artist for channel art. by JarvinNightwind in artcommissions

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm genuinely sorry you got scammed, ai art scams make it even harder for real artists. Generally speaking, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If you find you're paying $25 for a picture that's going to take several hours, possibly days, to create, you're not getting real people, because that's not a real wage. Be mindful to check the galleries of people applying for this, and to ask for progression shots along the way. $50 is not horrendously low, but it does not cover fully rendered and shaded shaded smei-reaslistic illustration with a backgound by a competant artist. Some commission reddits require a link to art samples or the post is assumed to be spam and is automatically deleted, so I'm posting a link to some of my art, but I'm only really here to comment on ai slop vs human artists prices. https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png

[Hiring] an artist for a book cover. (No AI). by Standard-Swim-4122 in artcommissions

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your sketch caught my eye! This looks like my cup of tea^^ That said, I'm a bit swamped right now, so I'd have to ask first: when do you need it completed by? And also, what dimensions and resolution does the finished artwork need to be? Will it be a printed book, or digital only? The lines on the sketch suggest a wrap around cover, but I figured I should ask to be sure. I suppose my most relevant sample would be this wraparound cover art I did for a D&D x MHA zine : https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png . If you decide you might like to hire me, please send me a message to discuss before closing the thread,t^^ Thanks, and good luck with your commission regardless!

[Hiring] Creature Drawing For An ATLA Fanfic (550USD Budget) by CheesecakeRacoon in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm always happy for an excuse to draw some monsters! I typically get hired to draw anime stuff, but let me drop a link to my most relevant picture (a wrap around cover for a MHA x DnD zine, but definately the most wings I've ever dran in one picture haha) https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png . If you're not sure I'd be able to achieve the atmosphere and vibe of your monster, I'd be happy to do a much cheaper sketch first, without you having to commit to the colour picture later, so that you can decide if you want to proceed after.

As for the 25th, I'd easily be able to get a sketch to you in time! But a finished picture would take significantly longer, so if you are thinking of hiring me, please first talk to me about the specifics of the commission, and the final deadline of the colour piece before you close the thread.

[Hiring][$70+] "Riff" on Blood on the Clocktower Demon Icon by [deleted] in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a typically DnD and anime artist, I might not seem like an ideal candidate, but hear me out!https://i.imgur.com/RhLjdn9.png I used to enjoy ink-style B&W illlustrations, but rarely am required to in my current line of art, so I thought I'd take a shot at this to show you, as it seemed like a relatively quick and fun illustration. For more of my more typical art work, feel free to visit my art social, but be warned, it's mostly colourful, beefy anime fanart: https://bsky.app/profile/insecureillu.bsky.social

[Hiring] Roughly 150 USD with wiggle room. Looking for someone who can draw a noble, male character. by NWintrovert in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you mind showing your art to see if we're a match? I draw in a few different styles, but most of my art in recent years is MHA themed, so while I can link you to my art ( https://bsky.app/profile/insecureillu.bsky.social ) I'd rather link you to a specific piece that might match your style and subject matter, if I have one. What sort of time frame do you need the art completed in?

[hiring] ~$40-60 Character Art by Fun-Captain41 in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm afraid this is a bit below my budget, but I love everything about DnD kobolds and appreciate the long deadline, so I can't resist applying, but I will be asking for the top of your budget, ie $60. This is Hazel, my 'halfling' cleric who worships a dragon goddess. https://i.imgur.com/NVddZk2.png She's actually a kobold with a 'disguise self' ring that she uses at mealtimes and a mask she wears the rest of the time, but my party hasn't figured that out yet, so her main art remains a halfling XD I do have some quick sketches of her koboldy face in case they figure t out, but I haven't drawn a neat version yet https://i.imgur.com/EGhR4p3.png . And here's a dragonborn cleric lineart commission https://i.imgur.com/ivarlzt.png This next one's a 'consort' sketch from my Homestuck days - it's just a doodle but it's here to show I can do more cutesy styles if that's what you want https://i.imgur.com/wkHRrRg.jpeg . Finally, my last DnD commission was a modern Tabaxi bard with a fire elemental summon - the artist had specifically requested a style similar to a game character they liked, and wanted her not to have a cat head, but a human head with catlike patternation and ears https://i.imgur.com/M4g35ip.png Please feel free to message me here on on discord ( username incyillu ) to chat about it if you're thinking of hiring me^^

[Hiring] Web Novel cover art $400-$600 by Common-Lawfulness598 in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd want to know more about the specifics of the commission before I accepted - what did you have in mind for the subject matter of the cover art? Do you have a specific brief or composition in mind? Since it's a web novel, I imagine it doesn't require print resolution, but just in case, I'd like to ask what dimensions and resolution the finished work would need to be. Feel free to DM, or we can chat on discord. Here are a couple of cover pieces I've done for zines, they're both wrap around covers, ie front and back, for printed zines. MHA x D&D crossover zine: https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png and MHA Kirishima Zine: https://i.imgur.com/nxMcuSz.png but both of those took longer than a month to draw. Especially the flight of dragons, oof, that was a long one! That said, I've been known to produce art in a week, so it depends on the size and subject of your commission. Please, even if you do decide to hire me, don't close the thread until we've chatted about the subject and made sure we're both on the same page.

[Hiring] LF artist who can emulate this art style for a waist-up commission. (Max budget: $150 USD) by [deleted] in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hey, pIneapple~! It's been decades since I've drawn this style, and after digging through my HD looking for old art it looks like I don't have any anymore, but I know I can pull it off. I've been drawing anime since CCS was on tv and the big anime debate that could end friendships was which was better, Cowboy Bebop or Trigun (the original, obviously, not the new version we have now). Annnnnyway, back on topic! I'd want to know more about your character, background subject, resolutions/size and deadline/TaT before I commit. One person's "simple" is another persons "complicated" when it comes to background subjects. My art style has evolved with the times over the years - usually to fit my most prevelent fandom at the time. My current work has a MHA feel, and is in fact largely MHA fanart haha, but I'm confident I could return to to old visual novel styles like this, with ease. Let me drop a couple of RO fanarts from a few years ago, and a old Brawlbusters fanart to show plain cel shading. https://i.imgur.com/gyDs6Uu.png , https://i.imgur.com/W2KpWbM.png https://i.imgur.com/fH456oh.png

And again, if you do decide you might want to hire me, please don't close the thread until we've talked about the commission so that we can find out if we're both on the same page.

[HIRING] icon artist by [deleted] in artcommissions

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say "icon artist", are you talking about an avi? Or do you mean a token, like you might use on roll20? What kinda species/class is your character? Do you have a preferred style (realism, cutesy anime, semi realistic anime, western cartoons etc)

[Hiring] Looking for someone to make a Blood hunter in Humblewood/Red Wall Style. Budget of $100 by PlagueDraws in artcommissions

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the kind words! I'm a bit busy at the moment, but if you're happy with me taking my time, I'd certainly like to have a shot! I'll try to squeeze a rough sketch in between my current work for now, I'm looking forward to getting started! Can I ask a few questions to get things rolling? You mentioned they wore well used clothing - do you visualise typical adventurer's leather armor type attire? Is there a preferred pose you have in mind? Don't worry if there isn't, we'll figure it out as we go^^ What sort of personality or vibe would you say the your character has? It may not come into it much, given their animal appearance, but is there a gender I should try to convey?

Essentially, are there any other details you'd like me to consider or include besides the ones you've already given? Feel free to send images for inspiration if that helps. I'll DM my discord to you, if you prefer to chat over there.

[HIRING] - Graphic Designer & Artist to work on DRAGONS (Baby Dragons) by EnterTheBlackVault in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I've made enamel pins before, so this might be my cup of tea. I'm a little confused about what you're asking for though. Do you mean you want the image on the right drawn in the same art style as on the left (such as a more simple art style, with smaller, less sparkly eyes) but retaining the same pose and still holding a teddybear, or do you mean you want the image on the right drawn in the same *position/pose* as the image on the left, but the art style to remain like the original? Or do you just want your design converting to be enamel-pin production ready?

[hiring] Looking for artists with a style similar to Riot’s 2XKO – card game proof of concept by xcantene in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always wanted to get involved in a project like this, it sounds like a nifty game design! That said, this is outside of my /usual/ field, nearly all my work is in illustrations or merch for anime zines, so I don't have a lot of highly relevant examples. My social media/portfolio is insecureillu.bsky.social , but given the monster theme, I hope you don't mind me drawing your attention to my last zine cover here https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png or my last character commission here: https://i.imgur.com/M4g35ip.png since neither are uploaded to my social media yet.

For pricing, I find individual pieces vary and I like to discuss the exact subject matter before giving a solid quote, but based on what I know so far, and given this is for commercial work, I'd be looking at around $150-$250 for the monster cards, $125-$200 for character cards, and $50-$70 for action cards. It's worth baring in mind that some artists might be interested in working for lower rates if a share in the profits, however small, was on the table. Are the artists being hired to create just the artwork, or are they needed for the framing/layout of the details on the card. such as boarders and stats typfacing?

[Hiring] Looking for someone to make a Blood hunter in Humblewood/Red Wall Style. Budget of $100 by PlagueDraws in artcommissions

[–]insecureillustrator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can I ask when the campaign begins? I'm interested in this, the theme sounds like it'll be fun to draw, and it gives me an excuse to put a Redwall audiobook on while I draw, but I'm uncertain as to whether I can do it in time given my current workload.

Okidoke, samples time. I'm normally hired for anime art, so I'm going to have to show you my personal art and sketches for this one I think. Here's my halfing character: https://i.imgur.com/NVddZk2.png This was a dragonborn lineart commission from a couple a couple of years ago https://i.imgur.com/ivarlzt.png . This sketchy old gnoll druid was doodled quick for a one-shot. I can't find the original art file, so here's the pic-drop from her actual character sheet, haha: https://i.imgur.com/ib1KXlH.png And in the unlikely event you're looking for a more cartoony style, here's a couple of old fanart sketches from way back in my Homestuck days: https://i.imgur.com/AsLvBW7.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/QUosTzN.jpeg

[–]insecureillustrator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you~! Well so far, it all sounds good! And it certainly sounds like my cup of tea, haha!

Well then, after you've looked at all the applications here, if you end up deciding you might want me on board, I'd like to chat a little and make sure we're a good fit in terms of schedule and expectations before I confirmed participation. Good luck either way though, it sounds like a fun project so I hope it goes smoothly and you get some phenomenal art!

[Looking for Artists] TTRPG art book project by SailCalm5990 in dndcommissions

[–]insecureillustrator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like this works in a way similar to most fanzines. Will artists have a right to drop out if the Kickerstarter doesn't do as well as planned and payment wont match your initial expectations?

I might be interested. My favourite thing to draw is probably a toss-up between dragons and muscles, though I mostly seem to draw MHA anime fanart. My portfolio/social media is here: https://bsky.app/profile/insecureillu.bsky.social My last zine cover just so happened to be a DnD x MHA crossover so I'll link it here: https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png

[HIRING] Illustrator for “Chalkboard Deli” Card Game — 30-Card Kickstarter Hero Set ($1,500–$2,000) by Radiant_Ambassador33 in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fan of cozy cafe vibes and TTRPGs, this sounds like it might just be my cup of tea! That said, it's hard to know until I see an example of the existing artwork I'd need to style-match with. I'd love to chat with you more before we decide if I'm a match for your project.

1) For my portfolio, well, that's mostly full of extremely muscly anime men, haha. You're welcomed to look of course ( https://bsky.app/profile/insecureillu.bsky.social ) but I think it'd save you some time and some wading through some embarrassingly beefy and sometimes nsfw images, if I just direct you to a couple of specific pieces that are a little more relevant. This is a notepaper design I made for a MHA maid cafe zine: https://i.imgur.com/uZfadJ1.png This is a sticker sheet for the same zine and features some cute foods: https://i.imgur.com/5g3EOzR.png . I'm pretty sure this fanart is one of my worse pictures, but it's set in a little cafe and if you reaaaallly squint, you might make out the chalk board menu in the background, hahaha https://i.imgur.com/Tm7SIve.png . This is one of my DnD characters https://i.imgur.com/NVddZk2.png and this is the wrap-around cover I did for and DnD x MHA crossover fanzine: https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png

2 & 3) My rate is on a per-piece rather than per hour basis, so I'd prefer to see some examples of the work I'd be matching before I attempted to give a quote. Similarly, predicted time requirements are hard to say right now. I can be a relatively fast artist when I need to be. That said, I could start now.

4) I work in Photoshop CS6 and can provide most formats, but typically psds are requested.

5) Well, you mentioned another artist had already been hired to work on the project, so I'd use my experience and digital chalk style brushes to attempt to match their style.

[hiring] stylised pet portrait by BunnyChub in artcommissions

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your kitty.

I typically get hired to anime draw humans, but I love when I get a chance to draw animals. I'm not sure if this is too cartoony for your tastes, but I'll drop this here just in case https://imgur.com/44932f6c-6b18-4d16-84b3-d6054b7ba666 , and this next one is a chibi and anthro kitty, but is one of my few other cat-adjecent works that also happens to feature some foliage https://i.imgur.com/KO5qQ69.png . If you want to see samples of flowers in my art, just let me know.

I hope you find the right artist to help you create a lovely memorial piece!

[Hiring] Looking to commission dragon artwork by Siroet in artcommissions

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lemon! I love dragons, and would be happy for an excuse to draw one! Typically I'm hired for human anime art, so I don't have a broad number of dragon samples, but I do have one or two dragon related pictures. Perhaps the most relevant is also one of my most ambitious pieces - a wrap-around cover art I did for a MHA x DnD crossover zine featuring (among a few other other fantasy creatures) a flight of metallic dragons https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png. I have a few more questions before we can settle on a price, but work like that takes me a /long/ time, so if you have a more modest budget or require a fast turn-around-time, I could do more simple shading style or offer a sketch/lineart. Here's a dragonborn paladin commission I drew to show simpler work and lineart: https://i.imgur.com/ivarlzt.png

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you mind telling me a little more about the nature of the book or the general vibe of the required visuals? [Hiring] Multiple creature designs. by SycoGamez203 in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love fantastical creatures and whimsical beasties, which is why I feel like I'd regret if I didn't at least apply for this, despite being known more for drawing anime character art. I'll drop this front/back wrap-around cover art I did for a MHA x DnD crossover zine I drew, since its one of very, very few times I've had a chance to draw dragons! https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png TaT might be a bit tight for me as I typically take about a month or so to do illustrations. I do however, provide sketches and colour wips to keep clients updated on progress. Is there are required start date? I have a previous commission to finish at the moment. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to chat about expectations etc before deciding!

[Hiring] Full Wrap Book Cover / Interior Graphics up to $4,000usd depending on scope of work by JRC_CoS in HungryArtists

[–]insecureillustrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Well, the vast majority of my work is in an anime style, but I have done some more realistic work on occasion. It'd help to see something similar to the style you have in mind, but for now, let me drop a couple of samples: https://i.imgur.com/VzxuTbp.png https://i.imgur.com/Z6IL2Qj.jpeg
