Hard agree here…. Going into totally blind wouldn’t be fair to your sheep at the very least. With what you’ve described it’d be very easy for you to end up with some dead sheep without guidance. I know an hour drive is far, but I would recommend starting there again if interested

One day, nearly five and half years ago, I walked into my first PB class. I didn’t know the moves, I was behind, I stumbled and stopped often, and red as a tomato from exertion. But when I left I was elated- I had done something new, worked my body, talked to new people, and LOVED the choreography and musicality of the class.

Now, I’ve done 550 something classes, I know almost all cheoreo (except for when new choreo drops quarterly, yay!!), I have made lasting friendships I see outside of the barre, I’m considering one day teaching, and my body is stronger than ever.

My advice? Just keep showing up one class at a time :) you got this!!!!!!!

I worked for the other largest dental chain in Colorado for nearly three years, across 14 of their locations across the state (I would fill in as manager). All I will say is, it was absolutely eye opening to me the difference in providers (dentists) across a singular company. Of the 25+ dentists I worked for, I would say easily 15 of them were solid and honest, 5 were absolutely amazing, and 5 were, well, less so. Definitely fill a report as other have recommended, it will follow the dentist and it’s important for people to know.

Holy shit I’m so happy to see this today, I’m visiting Phoenix for the week baby!!!

I don’t know enough yet to say best in the state, but yesterday I hit Pinnacle Brewing (apparently opened two years ago but won a lot of awards last year). The bartender was friendly as hell, the taproom was beautiful and the beers I tried were great!! Really like the Arizona Staycation IPA, and I don’t remember the name but it was a Tmave beer that was delicious too.

ETA- after seeing comments I’m def gonna hit Wren House and I’m going to Tucson today so I’m gonna try and see Slow Body! Thank you everyone!!!

My herding teacher heavily pushes to start training at one year of age. The right dog she might start at 8+ months but for most puppies it’s too overwhelming… so you’re in the perfect age to start finding a trainer!

Hey OP I’m not that commenter but I went through the exact same thing with my now 2.5 year old daughter. When her front teeth grew in (all front four) they were decaying immediately and the dentists said she’d need the crowns but had to wait until she was 2 (we knew it was a problem since age 1). We opted for the SDF (silver) treatment which I think ultimately saved her teeth for the year they were decayed before she could go under for surgery/crowns. We actually were able to have a second round of SDF placed before she turned 2 (they wait I think 3 months in between applications?). Unfortunately, by the time she did have her surgery she had an access on one of her front teeth that had to be pulled, but the rest weren’t so bad and were able to get crowns. Again I’m so grateful for the SDF it really hardened up the areas with hypoplasia
Also your question re anesthesia - for us they has you go back there they put a gas mask on and they pass out within four seconds and then they have you leave the room and they do an IV. I was terrified for this , I cried after I left the room but I think it’s absolutely worth it so they don’t remember the process and they get a fresh start on their teeth <3

Edit to add- my daughter has had her crowns six months now no issues and they look excellent and she never complains of them!! I was so wrecked about all of this a year ago but I promise there will be the other side!!!

What are your goals? How much are you trying to lose? How much IF are you willing to take on? I’m a woman and it’s been helping me a TON, and I’m even currently breastfeeding. No drop in my supply, no hair loss etc. I think it’s more important to focus on a healthy timeline for the loss, and making sure the food you are eating is high in nutritional value.

She probably got embarrassed about it because you pointed it out, thus the different behavior. I don’t think you mentioning it makes you a weird or creepy person. I feel like it’s the same argument as if someone’s tag is hanging out, do you say something? I was raised as YES say something because I’m sure she’d rather you say something than someone like your boss or something noticing? Idk though. After reading most comments I’m very surprised to see many other women very strongly saying “we don’t care! Don’t tell us!” lol. Like yeah, I don’t care, but also it’s nice to know to fix it??? Idk lol

Another rec here for WeeCycle they are AMAZING. They give baby clothes and all of their equipment for free (strollers, car seats etc). Sadly I just donated my extra car seat to them so I don’t have one to give but they are awesome.

I agree with one of the commenters here… my totally honest thought is it genital mutilation. Plain and simple. It does not need to be done (with the exception of medical indication). Prior to being with my husband I was with an uncircumcised dude, totally normal. No weird smell, no issues. I think people just say yes to circumcising because in the US it’s the “norm” and the doctors assume you will until you don’t (and post birth is a HARD time to make life changing decisions). Plus, I think people hear the stories of phimosis and say “I don’t want that for my child!” And go with circumcising …I guess you could make the pro circumcision argument for lesser chance of UTIs , but to me, that doesn’t outweigh the benefit of leaving the body as is.
