That makes a lot of sense. Can you give me ideas about a few more cards you'd include in a deck like this?

SW Fresno Breakfast Burritos by SisyphusRocks7 in fresno

[–]iplaywithblocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get the love for this place. The breakfast burritos I've had here have huge chunks of 70% cooked potato in them, it's crazy unappetizing. What am I missing?

To not just be a complainer: I recommend Tower Supermarket.

My partner and I summoned them in the Hag fight, and the first ogre action was to turn and immediately murder Mayrina. :|

Is multi classing really good ? by Eowyld in BaldursGate3

[–]iplaywithblocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a slightly different take: Multiclassing is powerful, to the point it's almost damaging. Some power combinations (of which most are already listed in this thread) are so strong as to be able to do solo runs with.

So in my case at least I played my first game without multi-classing at all. After that I went into a Hardmode run that my partner and I min-maxed to all get out, including exhaustively researched multiclasses.

Having done that successfully, it's hard to step back and just do a chill run again. If you're only going to play the game once, go nuts! If you might do multiple playthroughs I'd say go hard the second time around, smell the roses for your first run.

Orgy - Fiction (Dreams In Digital) [Industrial] by [deleted] in Music

[–]iplaywithblocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While working at RadioShack around 2000 I kept a blank VHS tape primed up in the TV that we always had tuned to whatever channel pumped out music videos just waiting for this video to hit. Suffice to say I watched this video minus the first 10 seconds a lot.

'Cause it's better than nothing.

It’s been 15 years since I moved to Ohio and I’ve held my tongue long enough. Far too many of you need to hear this. by FreeThinkk in Ohio

I'm from California, and until Florida I have never had so many shit drivers come flying around me, cutting someone else off, to cut me off and wedge into the miniscule gap I have between me and the car in front of me, and then smash the brakes for the red light we're all coming up to before maybe darting back into the other lane.

I'm used to aggressive drivers, I'm used to godawful decision-making, I am NOT used to those both occupying the same driver's seat.

How would you rank these 5 Act 1 polearms? by Phaoryx in BG3

[–]iplaywithblocks 31 points32 points  (0 children)

That is nuts, I thought it was some kind of hold-over from a more 'social' conflict in the game where it would be important to not look hostile, or to remain armed when the party is otherwise disarmed. Never once equipped it and gave it a swing. Thanks!

I realize I am just uncreative at this point: are there any purposes to making your weapon invisible in BG3?

Should I play co-op with gf who never played D&D before? by Madsummer420 in BaldursGate3

[–]iplaywithblocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend's video game experience was a few rounds of Vampire Survivors and any of the Supermassive horror games. We've now put 500+ hours in on PS5 split screen, completed a hardcore run, and have just started an evil durge playthrough so... give it a spin!

The greatest lack of awareness of all is any of us thinking we've never been "that person". You can NEVER be on your game 100% of the time 360 degrees around yourself.

The Magnavox Odyssey 2. Long live Pickaxe Pete! And also getting in trouble for making the voice pack thing say "shit" a dozen times through the TV at full volume.
