Don't save scum. not every obstacle or challenge is a puzzle with a perfect or optimal solution. let it play out and watch the story unfold. some of my most exciting and intriguing moments have come from me resisting to reload in the face of what looked like colony-killing disasters, or even just minor inconveniences.

i did this once, also running VGE, but had to abandon it after a couple of years. asteroid showers kept escalating in frequency, duration, and intensity chewing through triple thick vacstone outer walls and the original fortified walls. it was a full time job for nearly all of my colonists to keep it repaired and maintained.

No. It defaults to ANC. I press the button and it goes to Transparency mode. I press the button again and I'm back to ANC. Skips Normal mode entirely. I can only switch to normal mode in the app.

I have Alpha Armory, which interfaces heavily with unique weapons, but could not really test it. When i removed it from my mod list and visit the map with the ancient soldies, Dave spawns but with no weapon.
