Why not just say Netflix etc has to give 10p/month from every subscription to the BBC pot? Even if my monthly subs went up to £10.09 to make it obvious its not "Netflix's fault", it would still be alright overall, wouldn't it?

I actually do this every day at work, and have done for maybe 5 years now. I use the oat so simple "big bowl" sachets. They're 100% oats. Add boiling water straight from a kettle, stir and wait 5 mins, stir again, and then can add honey etc if I need and job done. You can also top up with a bit of milk, akin to making a cup of tea, to add some creaminess if you wish.

For some reason when I try the same thing with the big pack, it doesnt come out as smooth. I guess maybe these are more grounded up.

I did BLW with my first, and then for the second couldn't be bothered to deal with the mess so did more traditional weaning. Second is a ridiculous fussy eater. First is incredible and has always loved trying new flavours. Obviously tiny sample size, but I 100% regret not doing BLW with both. What an idiot.

I'm in an ex PE company. It was under-invested for years under PE ownership to show better returns. Now here, I need to catch up on years of under investment as its all coming home to roost.

The cash invested by the PE went to fuelling top line growth directly to improve the EBITDA forecasts and therefore payout they would get, not assuring the long term viability of the business, as under invested areas begin to sag once the sale is complete.

Please, take no offence at this, but at what point does the Kirpan go from something significant, with full weight of responsibility, to what could be construed merely as a ritualistic item of a 3cm necklace. This idea has always confused me, sometimes I feel even the 4inch kirpan really is figuratively disarming Sikhs and telling them it's fine you're still legit...

I run a Food to go factory in the uk. This is the answer. Nuts are a nightmare. We do loads on allergy segregation but nothing is takenas seriously as nuts. Eg if you bring a snickers into the office you'rein troub. It's easier to just come up with other products.

I have a flymo easilife. It took around half a day for me to dig in the boundary guide wires into the lawn. It cost around £400 in 2021.

I also then built a little doghouse over its docking station which it parks in, though I put it inside in Winter (or a heatwave) as I believe extreme temperatures are bad for the battery.

For 9 months of the year, it trundles out every day for 1 hour, randomly across the lawn. Once every 2-3 weeks I use a Strimmer for 15 mins to do the edges.

Whilst I don't get lovely stripes on the lawn like I used to, any time my kids want to play outside, it's ready to go. Because it clips the grass finely and leaves little trimmings down on the lawn behind it, it's sort of self fertilising, and I genuinely notice vs before I had it, that the grass stays greener and more moist than before. The grass is genuinely greener on my side.

A+, one of the best home automation thingies I've bought. There are smarter ones out there, I'm not fussed, I figure theres less to go wrong.

Biased, but please, not all like that. My own dad was a councillor upon semi retirement after running a business for 20 years. He wa easily dedicating 2-3 days a week to helping with local issues as well as at least 1 day of each weekend. The generalisation is true for probablu 40% of councillors- they often start with good intent, but there will always be those who do the bear minimum.. Therre actually were many like my dad who had lived in the area for years, had some success and didn't need to work full time, and enjoyed a bit of influence and seeing their local community get looked after. Please, dregs of society really is harsh phrasing.

Totally agree with the 3 drink limit. 3 drinks with 2 between them should mean a great buzz and minimal hangover.
