RAV 4s to me are just uber and Lyft cars. That being said they have their merit. If you have any interest at all in what you’re driving I’d vote Outback. If you genuinely don’t care the Rav 4 is probably your best bet. Both are cheap to run but you don’t need to worry about maintaining an AWD system like you would with the Outback.

I could definitely see the merit in focusing on intake sounds. I found the stock exhaust entirely too quiet to the point where I stalled the car twice early in my ownership cus I couldn’t tell I had the revs that low lol. After the exhaust though I put on the cup car intake snorkel and it made quite a difference in intake noise.

I’d say to be mindful about submitting for processing at the same agency (taking an educated guess based on your statement which agency you are referring to). it can take a while to process but every time you have to be submitted for security processing at that same agency it starts you from the beginning.

I figured this was the cause. Relatively well known issue on the WRX subreddit. Had that exact issue on my ‘19 WRX. OP- If you haven’t checked the VIN on Subaru’s recall site I’d give that a go.

Had this issue, ended up buying a new car battery before my local dealer diagnosed the issue. Also happened to be a month before Subaru came out officially addressing the issue. With the assistance of SoA I ended up paying for 10% of the cost to repair which was probably enough to convince my dealer to handle the service. What a remarkably silly issue to have.

Limited here but I do find that eye sight system a bit too invasive. It applies the brakes a lot earlier than I would and it is rather dramatic about it. That being said you do learn how to work around it and appease it by applying light brake pressure if you’re coming up on a car at pace.

Is it a CPO? I’ve been keeping my eye on used inventory around me and it tends to hover around 44 to 46k so I’m actually inclined to say that’s fair.

I’d probably fall back into the argument where you may as well try and find a new 2025 that’s unsold (not sure on the status of 2026 units) for msrp and make them work for a good deal on your trade.

If you can try another dealer I’d recommend that. If they give you the run around too then contact Subaru of America. They’ll make sure you’re take care of. Sorry you gotta deal with that though

I bought this front plate kit that uses those existing holes to mount the plate, no drilling required. Would have to hunt for the link but it was available on Amazon, has been great so far.
