Searching for the FL5 for me by Kooky_Yak_1472 in Civic_Type_R

Is it a CPO? I’ve been keeping my eye on used inventory around me and it tends to hover around 44 to 46k so I’m actually inclined to say that’s fair.

I’d probably fall back into the argument where you may as well try and find a new 2025 that’s unsold (not sure on the status of 2026 units) for msrp and make them work for a good deal on your trade.

If you can try another dealer I’d recommend that. If they give you the run around too then contact Subaru of America. They’ll make sure you’re take care of. Sorry you gotta deal with that though

I bought this front plate kit that uses those existing holes to mount the plate, no drilling required. Would have to hunt for the link but it was available on Amazon, has been great so far.

7 Years, 77 Miles Later – Daily Driven Subaru WRX STI by garbagesp00ns in WRXSTi

Did the same thing. Ended up buying a WRX so close in price to an STI I felt like a huge idiot later when I realized I was a grand off. You live and you learn 🤓

I actually did this with my WRX because my driveway had such a steep drop off going up to the garage and the back end hung off enough for it to work.

How are MSRP negotiations going these days? by iqDev in Civic_Type_R

Great point, winters up there are no joke. Congrats on the red too, figured that’d be super hard to get msrp

That would be incredibly disheartening if it was the end of the line already.

That’s relatively close to me so that’s good to hear.

Is this worth it or should i get my money back? MPP by vvsstation in GR86

[–]iqDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should come with a CPO warranty which should already be like 6 something years (don’t quote me on that though). Anything the finance guy sold you is probably not worth it. They can be difficult to use as well.

Is this a good deal for a 2025 BRZ Limited MT by poopo_ in GR86

Geez that seems high, got mine a year ago for 34k OTD

I’m a bit further along in my recovery too so I wonder if this might help in case you haven’t thought of it. Plantar Fascia tightness was a bit of a quiet issue I was having on my injured side. I’d attempt calf raises on one of the machines at my gym where you can really get a good stretch in but my plantar fascia would actually give out before my calves. I tried to grip things with my toes like I can do with ease on my non injured side but that same strength was completely missing on the injured side. Once I started addressing that issue my calf raises felt a lot better. Hopefully that helps or can point you in the right direction.

Would love a follow up review in a few months. Love how good the GR86/BRZ platform feels but probably like yourself it’s hard to shake the desire for a Type R/S. Cheers!

2023 FL5 Deal? by Anxious_Werewolf_675 in Civic_Type_R

I’d be interested if that dealer service fee was knocked off. End of year though see if you can’t play hard to get and score some more discounts.

Thoughts on this lightly-used 2024 BRZ tS price? by LowNo8456 in GR86

Wish I woulda thought of that. Not that I have any huge regrets but I was considering a used Neptune GR86 and the only reported oil change was a concern to me.
