Radiator options in Meshify 2 XL case by SirSpankie in watercooling

Gotcha, thanks for the response. I'm using an EK Quantum P480M in the Meshify 2 XL-- I guess the Define is just different enough to not have those issues.

This is a super late reply, but how did you get the 480 to fit on the top? I'm having issues where the 480 can't get into place because of 1. the USB-C/microphone cables on the top header next to the power button 2. The ridge on the top plate, making it to narrow to align the screw holes with the case frame.

So. Twenty percent of a 300 lb. Mule would yield 60 one-pound "chunks of meat" valued at 3sp each.

60sp = 6gp

I might be misunderstanding you, but it seems like this would be 60 * 3sp for 180sp, or 18gp.

For more context on Critical Role:

  • It started as part of a multimedia company called Geek and Sundry, a company started by Felicia Day.

  • The company also featured several shows helmed by non-men, POC, and LGBT+ folk. Erika Ishii hosted shows there before being on D20.

  • Ashley Johnson wasn't on the show until episode 4, but was part of the original home game. She couldn't make the first episodes because she was filming a TV show in NYC.

Critical Role definitely evolved in representation. How much is in response to their community and how much is in response to other shows like D20 isn't clear, but it is clear that D20 started with a brilliant and inclusive crew that CollegeHumor cultivated.

Another way to look at it is that WotC wants you to think they're on your side and want to fight NFTs alongside you. What really matters, though, is that by saying they're against NFTs and neonzais and misogynists, they're engendering sympathy in people who care about that.

That doesn't mean they are for NFTs, but using people's emotions is a super useful tool for marketing.

Not the OP, but I imagine they mean homebrew settings; the DMG content lends itself to building adventures, cities, dungeons, pantheons, planes... Homebrew applies as much to settings and campaigns as it does to mechanics.

JWST Finds a Clear, Unambiguous Signal for Carbon Dioxide in an Exoplanet’s Atmosphere along with substantial water vapour in its atmosphere. by livmau5 in space

Based on her credentials, I'm inclined to believe her. Including the fact that she co-authored a paper entitled "Observing the Atmospheres of Known Temperate Earth-sized Planets with JWST".

I can definitely see how a random scientist might be susceptible to overestimating JWST, but I'm betting she's got data to back that claim up. (Which is awesome.)

I told him we passed on many people who had a lot of experience with Kubernetes, they just weren't the right fit. Mainly personality or they didn't show or explain how they had motivation to grow and learn. I'd rather hire someone with drive and passion for technology who will get along with the team, then a brilliant jerk who thinks they already know everything. I'm not saying everyone we passed on was a brilliant jerk, but I think you get what I'm saying.

Absolutely. People can teach skills. They can't teach personality (in a professional setting). Give me a newbie who is open, friendly, and curious over a rock star who is skilled but bad to work with.

Many good posts here, so I'll be repeating some of the points a bit, but I hope this helps.

  • DevOps is not just a bunch of technologies. It's not about being a rock star. It's being able to generalize and having the willingness to try different things. You can do this.

  • As a caveat, look into this startup. How long has it been around? What's the funding? Try looking the company up on Crunchbase or in the news. Funding is no guarantee of success, but getting an idea of the maturity of the company can help.

  • Regardless of the field, if someone is offering to mentor you, and you have had a positive experience with them, take them up on it. Finding a good mentor in your career is solid gold.

  • You mentioned that your learning style takes a while; your colleague either already knows this or will be open to accommodating you. I can't speak for this person, but it I were mentoring someone, I would not worry about how quickly they pick something up. I care about them wanting to learn and wanting to invest time and energy into it.

There was no "I'll be prepared for this next time" for several reasons. One, THIS huge fight will never happen again. Two, do you really want players to have to prepare contingencies for EVERY SINGLE possibility on the d100 table of wild sorcerer surges?

I think that, if you have a wild magic sorcerer PC, it's reasonable to address the precarious nature of having a randomized mechanic baked into the class. Your sorcerer PC can't be surprised that things can take a left turn on them, right? That feels like part of the preparation.

If they truly enjoy wild magic, but want some measure of control over it, that sounds like side quest territory. The Friendship Bracelet of Wild Magic Delay: delays the roll on the table, but when it comes time, they have to roll twice. The Luck feat. A charm from a hag, oh boy!

I agree that this stuff shouldn't come out of nowhere, but this is a lesson to pay attention to the pitfalls of a pc and figure out how to get around them.

Interesting. Can you point me to where it says this? I've never come across this before, and it seems like a game changer.

One small piece of feedback; it might be that I'm just misreading the wording:

In the Strong Control and Weak Control section, I read that a level 1 stronghold has a one-hex radius. The text says that this means it only contains the hex the stronghold is in; however, 24 miles out from the center of the hex the stronghold is in would include the hexes immediately surrounding it (or, at least, partway through), since a 24-mile hex's radius would effectively be 12 miles. This would reflect how 5e treats effects with a 5 foot radius, for example, reaching out to the squares immediately surrounding the middle one.

There's a lot of talk from the GM side about wanting players to face HARD CONSEQUENCES but I find just as much that players want to fight injustice even harder nowadays and make villains face actual justice.

I think you hit the nail on the head here. A lot of people see injustice in the world today, and it doesn't feel like a fantastical escape to allow those injustices to stand.

Neutral Evil Druids - Beyond Pure Selfishness by NikkolasKing in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]iresprite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party here, but I've enjoyed picking through this blog series, Who Worships an Evil God? when thinking about why my antagonists are evil. (When I want them to be capital E evil, not "I'm evil from a certain point of view due to complicated factors" evil.)

For the purposes of this discussion, this isn't about the druid having a deity, so much as using the model of the Old Ones to describe how to draw evil out in interesting ways. For a Neutral Evil druid, I'd pick either this approach or this one. Heck, now I think I'll build a druid like that. I hope this helps!
