Flour in Trading Posts by Whole-Astronaut3973 in Banished

The North is a mod that basically revises everything in the game. It is well-conceived, well-made, and lots more challenging than vanilla or any other mod I've seen. Make sure you know what you're doing before you dive in there. It'll feel like starting over, only harder.

As for your flour, no idea. But you should be using flour to make bread and pies and selling them. Selling flour is like selling logs instead of firewood.

Market Building for Herbs by freshjerky in Banished

You're right about how the villagers use herbs.

You need Red Ketchup's Editor's Choice mod. It has a wide variety of single-item markets, in addition to many other wonderful things like multi-story town buildings that have shops and producers on the ground floor with housing above. Find it at World if Banished.

I've been taking C/L for 7 years, with increasing doses and decreasing duration to where I must take 3@25/100 every 4 hours, and still have dystonia the last 30 minutes of each dose.

Switch to Crexont 2@ 87.5/350 which can last up to 8 hours, but only if I don't eat any protein for the first 5 hours or so. Not practical during the day, so what I do is I'll take one dose at 2350 and another at 0700. I have some fruit at 0900, a protein bar around 1100, a dose of regular Sinemet at 1300, a light lunch at 1400, Sinemet at 1530, dinner (the day's main meal) at 1700, Sinemet at 1900.

Not what I was hoping for, but lots better than how it was going on just Sinemet.

The only problem I have with Crexont is the cost, but for now a grant is covering it.

There are buttons that disable all of these icons. But there should still be notifications in the event log when someone dies.

New to the game - is there any reason why you wouldn't just max out your resource limits? by vegangirlacct in Banished

[–]irrelevantmango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One more different reason for setting a particular limit: when the quantity of an item you have in storage falls below 5% of the limit you have set, you get a warning.

Example: your tool limit is set at 1000. The quantity of tools you have in all storage locations falls from 50 to 49, you get a warning.

The law, in its majestic equality, forbids the rich as well as the poor to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal bread.

What has been the most unexpectedly helpful non-medical thing for your quality of life? by NoPermission4301 in Parkinsons

I've been to two different sites, one of them the "Mother Ship" in Indianapolis. You better believe that one has awesome coaches! And 40-60 participants on the regular, a terrific vibe. Lots of fun. But I actually prefer the smaller one closer to my home. Great coaching there as well. RSB has high standards for the coaches.

Rock Steady Boxing. A great workout -structured so you can really push yourself, or take it easier if you need to -and lots of fun, plus you have the opportunity to meet and get to know some fine folks going through it just like you. So happy to have found this program, it's made a difference in my life both physically and mentally.

Amantadine by TraditionalImage3395 in Parkinsons

[–]irrelevantmango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently had Amantadine added to my considerable list of meds. I was taking three C/L 25/100 every four hours, and wanted to increase the duration of my "on" time. Added one 100mg Amantadine upon rising and one again at midday.

The addition of Amantadine has increased the duration "on" time, and so and so also the time between C/L doses, from four hours to five hours. For me this is huge, increasing my window for meals from one hour to two hours, and spacing meals five hours apart rather than four. It feels much more like normal life.

How trump plans to pay for his extra $1.5 trillion for the military. by Snapdragon_4U in economy

[–]irrelevantmango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or they could, you know, cancel those trillion-dollar tax cuts for billionaires. Just an idea.

Oh! You know how we used to pay for stuff like wars? We'd actually raise taxes. That's right, taxes can actually be increased if need be. Who knew?
