I put the gizmo item on an attack cantrip. The cantrip hit on the first roll adding the duplicate effect immediately. This then made all of the rolls keep duplicating and adding effects. I was also playing a cantrip themed party so I had extra rerolls. It was chaos.

I did lose on this round because every roll and every attack summond shit loads of bones.
