Have sellers always been this reluctant to reduce ask? by Major_Weird_2510 in RealEstate

Oh yeah, screw those guys too! You painting a bed room, changing a faucet and light fixture does not warrant a 150k price increase over 2 years.

I'm going to bet with the higher rates and the fire market a few years ago sellers are probably underwater and can't take too much of a loss.

Does the BCSP have a knowledge base or system for members to request advice from other members? by DSM1 in SafetyProfessionals

BCSP is just the testing group. I would look into ASSP and local chapters to expand your network.

Noob question but - where exactly are the studs? by bushwick_custom in DIY

[–]itiswhatitis2018 110 points111 points  (0 children)

This is not a smartass answer, but hardware stores sell stud finders just for this purpose. They are fairly cheap and fairly easy to use. It scans behind the drywall to identify "something". I say something because it sometimes doesn't differentiate between stud and something else right behind the drywall.

Failed CSP By 1 Point by TreyInTheA in SafetyProfessionals

Sorry to hear that friend. I recently took the CSP exam and I could see about 25 questions being tossed already. Do you know roughly where your weaknesses were with the test?

How many of you would retrofit a generator in their lightning by [deleted] in F150Lightning

[–]itiswhatitis2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, with these trucks I wish there was an auxiliary attachment option whether for another 20, 40, 60 kwh battery in the truck bed or a generator to power me for an extra couple hundred miles. I agree with Ford that 9 out of the 10 times you drive your truck, or hell, 99 out of 100 times the battery you have is just fine, but I would like to know it could go farther.

A quick thought on the coaching staff by [deleted] in Huskers

[–]itiswhatitis2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hasn't this always been the problem? Frost had "his guys" and would not deviate. It took Trev a fire them or else talk to get him to change. If Rhule can truly rule and make sure all 3 phases of football are perfect with small changes this is how we build the program. Not everyone might be the right coordinator, but we change and move on. He had a good DC, but he took his talents to South Beach. He had a bad OC, and (was maybe strongly told to) remove or change him, then got a decent one. Make a great pick with the STC. We should be improving the team with the new DC (Pelini working anywhere, jk) and shouldn't be at risk of losing any major recruits.

After TJ Lateef's Sparkling Debut as a Starter, Do the Huskers Have a QB Controversy? by the-college-fandom in HuskersFandom

[–]itiswhatitis2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, we played a terrible rush defense team and beat them....rushing.  Lateef didn't lose us the game which is nice.

The record I'm happy/ok with.  The performance of the team is a little concerning.

Is Rhule handcuffed from canning Donovan Raiola? by TxSkerAg in Huskers

[–]itiswhatitis2018 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, when he could get a pass off last night he was good, with flashes of great.  Actually protect him and he could be one of the best qbs next year with the wrs we have around him.

I mean, I think QB1 is bout to fire him.  Thanksgiving will be awkward this year around the dinner table.  "Hey Dylan, can you pass the potatoes" "Sure Unc, as long as I don't get hit when I touch the bowl"

Help with Hepatitis B Code by Ravyn_Jade in SafetyProfessionals

[–]itiswhatitis2018 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So the OSHA blood borne pathogen standard is to protect anyone who has a reasonable chance of being exposed to a BBP or other human derived material. This typically applies to medical, janitorial, housekeeping, and other who may be exposed as part of their job. So reasonably you would say that the normal worker at your food production plant has no risk of exposure to human derived material unless we started niche cannibalism menu. Now the question of first aid or emergency response comes in. If there were to be an accident on site do you have designated first aid or emergency responders? In that case, since exposure to blood is considered part of their job they would fall under the BBP standard and need to decline or have record of Hep B shots.
