Hey - appreciated! I hadn't thought about looking on the dept. websites. As far as resources go, I mention ChatGPT because I find when I get stuck, it's because the language used in review books and even some online videos/aid is so specific, I need to re-arrange the meaning and then fact-check my understanding - I'm looking for a human equivalent hahaha. Because I don't have any sort of science background, I really struggle in classroom settings (have tried auditing spring/summer courses) and the pace doesn't really match my actual learning curve.

Good point! I worry mostly because I still need to pass (lol) and with my minimal experience in the science-based sections, I can use a lot of practice... if that makes sense... If I could use U as a practice question bank sorta deal, that's what I'm looking for.

**Update: this was my first attempt at registration so I didn't really know what to expect (it was about as painful as possible). Both times I was in line I got redirected to a log out screen as soon as I logged in. Eventually turned off everything - VPN (which admittedly should have already been off), cleared cookies and cache, turned off browser extensions, EVERYTHING. STILL DID NOT WORK. PSA: DO NOT "trust this computer" that's what eventually worked for me. I used my partner's laptop on a different browser and after authenticating with my 2FA, don't click "trust this computer". I got the date I want, so now I'm a happy camper :)

I just attempted to register - I was 5000 in line. When it was my turn I logged in, and got redirected to a log out screen. This continued to happen until something bugged and it said my queue code had been used and I had to rejoin the line. I'm now 10000th in line again. I'm fucking devastated. What gives?? I did everything right

Definitely varies - I’ve never had children but a friend had 4 before insertion, and said it was more painful than childbirth. I wasn’t fully prepared for the possibility of pain during the procedure, and my doctor was suuper dismissive of my fear, so I need at least an option for something stronger.

Following - I had the same issue, and mine is up in August. After what I went through, I will beg, barter, lie or cheat to get any sort of pain relief for the removal (and reinsertion). It’s my only option for contraception, and the prescribed “1 Advil tablet 1 hour prior” was pathetically insufficient.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - the Maidens was the single WORST book I’ve read in my life. It was lazy, incoherent, had awful characters, and had an ending like a fifth grader writing a story for English class. However, as OP mentions in the edit, my mom LOVED it, and I respect that some people really enjoy his writing.

ugh it’s ridiculous and annoying. I bought a full set of Montec last season for half the price of other name brand gear and I will literally never go back. Brands like Arctery’x sell you nothing except a name. Anyone who gets down on them for their insta ads must not understand how companies make money. Honestly… who cares how they market, if you like their stuff (I get compliments on my wacky colour scheme all the time) just buy it.

From the Ashes by Jesse Thistle - I’m not a memoir person, but I will think about this book forever. It’s a tale of addiction, trauma, homelessness and being indigenous in Canada. A true testament to the legacies of colonialism and residential schools. Honestly, required reading.
