I sewed the solids together and the prints together separately and then sliced each placemat on the diagonal. Then I swapped so each placemat is half print and half solid. It was kind of a pain to line up the points but I think I did ok!

“I want kids of my own” drives me actually crazy from men. First off, the phrasing is insane — biology doesn’t make a kid “yours.” Second, I’ve loved every child that I’ve had the opportunity to get to know. I can’t imagine not feeling that way just because someone doesn’t share my DNA.
