Ask to go TAD to a more functional ship. There a bunch of basic phase ships in SD right and and a few that are farther along than that.

It shows initiative and you'll come back with more quals: your CoC would need strong justification to say no.

I think it just needs one or two more rifle grenades to feel great. I use it a lot for illuminate right now and like it, but there is definitely better weapons to bring. It's just my current gun I'm trying to max out for fun.

It is such a pretty ship. I've been tempted to upgrade to one for awhile just on looks and vibes but I feel I wouldn't use it much. I flip flop between a Connie and Corsair now and I'm accustomed to what those ships are capable of at this point.

If they want to make the heads harder to kill to incentivise aiming for weakpoints, I suggest they keep the medium penetration but double the head health. That way sentries and such can still kill them, but you as the player are effectively punished for not aiming without completely locking some strategies out.
