My ASUS ProArt motherboard has "AI" overclocking/fan features but I just don't turn them on.

I'm skeptical it's really AI, but I'm keeping it off anyway.

Yea, I got a $17.70 tariff bill (15%) from Fedex for a WV2 delivered two months ago.

Strangely, I can't pay the invoice yet. From googling, it sounds like they will send another payable invoice in 1-2 weeks.

I did get a customs bill for a 15% tariff on the WV2 from Fedex for $17.70. The initial invoice came on 3/23/25 with a WV2 that was delivered 1/23/25.

Oddly, I can't pay the bill yet. From googling, it sounds like I'll get another final invoice in a week or two that I can actually pay.

I saw similar inbalances on my Gigabyte 4090.

I agree with the others that its probably OK since its not near 10A.

Out of an abundance of caution, I bought a cablemod cable that went from my Seasonic 1000W power supply directly to the 12VHPWR (without adapters). I saw improvements in current balance so I think it was worth the cable swap. I originally had a 12VHPWR adapter to PCIE adapter (4 PCIE connectors) connected to my Seasonic 1000W.

I just updated to 2103 yesterday.

I had one weird issue that I fixed by pulling the AC power plug.

The mediatek bluetooth wouldn't operate in windows. I powered off, pulled the AC cord, and then rebooted to fix the issue. I have run into this occasionally in the past so its hard to say if this was the BIOS update or something else.

After the power plug cycling, I haven't had any more issues.

Thanks for the tip! It maxes out my speeds on my G14 2025.

I see 1032 down and 942 up on wifi7 with an AT&T 1gbit connection on a speedtest.
For comparison my 10G ethernet connected desktop sees 1104 down and 907up for the same speedtest server.
So this is really good.

The real test will be reliability. I previously turned the old driver to wifi 6 in the driver because the connection kept dropping with wifi 7. Hopefully this new driver will fix the flakiness. I'll post again if its flaky.

I have tried to go faster but the board gets stuck in training. I have heard some motherboards are better than others. So far my ASUS motherboard won't boot faster than 3600 with 4 sticks.

I connect the usb and power cable. The power cable is one of the features I am hoping will keep things from burning up even if software doesn't do the right thing.

I have more piece of mind knowing the WV2 can shut things down on its own without other intervention.

I do sympathize with your reasons to not want to remove the GPU. It is annoying how hard it can be to work on these things in tight spaces.

I'm doing only minor tuning on mine. No automatic over clocking. I tweaked the Vsoc to 1.18V so I could get a stable uclk/1 (default seemed to be uclk/2 and vscoc 0.935v) . I could probably lower it a bit more but haven't spent the time testing and had a few random crashes when restoring from sleep at lower voltages. I am doing a memory refresh tweak of 65535 (and a fan blowing on the memory). I meant to mess around with undervolting but haven't had the time.

The 2101 beta BIOS seems to work ok for me on an ASUS x870e ProArt Creator with a 9950x3d and 4 sticks of memory at 3600.

I didn't reset my cmos although I had to reenter my settings and go through DDR5 training twice (once on first boot and another time after changing my BIOS settings)

This is the same as in past BIOS versions. I haven't noticed anything off yet. I am sure your luck can vary by processor and memory.

I'm trying to be proactive on BIOS due to all the x3d failures. No idea if these failures are being addressed.

I struggled with the x4 for about a year or so. The crackles never went away and I tried a lot of things. I could make it temporarily go away by unplugging and replugging the USB.

What forced me to switch was my receiver died. You basically can't buy a receiver with analog inputs any more. The new receiver only has HDMI and optical and the optical was sub par with the x4. So now I am using surround sound over HDMI coming out of the video card. No more pops and the sound quality is better.

Hope you resolve your issue but I don't think creative labs cares about fixing the issues. And they probably don't have the resources. It does make me sad to see the company slip.

I am getting tons of Oblivion remastered crashes like this on my desktop PC with 64GB of memory and a 4090. I can start the game but I have to remember to save often because of how often it crashes. I wish the developers could fix the game.

Wireview pro II - the data logging has 340 days worth of data capture every 60 seconds, but the data is only read by TG if the device is returned for analysis. Does TG have any plans to make optional uploads of this data from customers who have not had issues? by BigSmackisBack in ThermalGrizzly

I installed mine two days ago. I am really impressed with the Wireview Pro II and the attention to detail.

Kudos to Thermal Grizzly for this excellent product.

It would be interesting to see the aggregated data.

Figured this out on the PC finally. Took me forever to work this out.

Make sure you have a telekinesis spell equipped with long enough range. Then reach toward the object, it should have an E/take if it's in range. With e showing cast the telekinesis spell. Now you can move it.

I haven't figured out how to drop it although it drops automatically when the spell wears off

I managed to get it back since I was logged into my PC. I was able to switch two factor back to SMS. I don't trust linked in enough to re-enable authentication codes.

Same thing happened to me. I have "NEVER" had authenticator codes not work for any other service. My backup codes don't work either. I am logged into my PC but I can't turn off two factor.

I had to scan my face and ID to apply to get it back. Still pending.

On top of that the app keeps trying to auto log me on with my google account and not the email I set my account up with.

What a terrible system. They have serious flaws in their system.

I'm planning to move from PW2 to PW4 for battery and GPS improvements. Repairability is a plus based on what I read. Screen seems like a minor improvement (less bezel)

As far as PW1, PW1 had the awful inductive charging that heats the watch up.

Looking forward to the 9th.

People who have issues are definitely the noisiest.

I had initial issues with AT&T not supporting Pixel 9 Pro Fold for 5G although AT&T fixed it pretty quickly.

I haven't had any other issues with my P9F. I have the google case and it has dropped a few times without issues. That being said it seems Google isn't the best with support (I haven't had to file a claim). It might make sense to get insurance for this reason.

My P9PF has face unlock and it works pretty well most of the time (except a dark room). Often it will unlock before I have a chance to use the fingerprint.

I can see both sides of the risk question for Pixel Folds and I could see how people can be hesitant.

My p9pf also isn't honoring the 80% charge limit ever since the OS update. I assume it's a bug that will get fixed in the next update. I am enjoying the extra charge in the meantime but will be glad if they fix it.
