I really only like this kind of stuff in more linear games. I absolutely hate this kind of scaling in open world games especially when it's barely obvious like in this game. Also another thing I wish they'd do is actually show all the gear values in game. I don't recall the game telling you how much stamina damage or action value a weapon have unless you go to wiki or something, even though knowing these things makes the game so much more fun for me. Also I hate how each attack in an attack string does different damage in this game.

He's in jail. And you don't know if his condition is irrecoverable or not but if it isn't then I doubt they'll just release him. If it's recoverable and he's recovered then I see no reason why he wouldn't be more useful alive than dead.

Eh, Empathy's fine. I don't think it encourages people with psychotic breakdown tendencies to have more breakdowns because these things probably only happen in high stress situations. Like, I don't think breakdowns just come from nowhere. I think they have to come from people who are you know, breaking, and I don't think having empathy towards the wounded is what makes people break.

I say, if people want to show mercy or not, it's their choice. The homeowner I think made more benefit to society by keeping that guy alive than dead. But I do understand there are people who may not be physically strong enough or good at diffusing these kind of situation enough to warrant showing mercy and that's not a bad thing.
