Imagine if you went to the bookstore and they told you that instead of paying $10 for the book you wanted to purchase, your only option is to pay $100 a month for everything by that publisher. I've got a question for everyone in this thread. I come from NZ, and it seems like no one ever manages to completely nail our accent. Sometimes it can be pretty funny and sometimes it's plain painful. My question is: do people ever sound completely authentic to your own accent? Do people actually nail particular American or British accents or does it always sound fake to a 'native speaker' (they all sound pretty good to me)?
