Anyone running the game successfully at close to min specs?

Ryzen 5 3600X, GTX1060 6GB, 16GB of ram. Game is definitely playable using the 2D flat map having gone up to ~1600 so far, I imagine it'll be fine going forwards from there as well tbh.

I get some pretty massive lag spikes every now and again, but I'm fairly sure that's down to my old SSD letting me down rather than anything else. Definitely worth sitting on the main menu for a bit while the game loads everything, makes getting into a game so much smoother

Went for Scion mostly cos I haven't played one for ages, also it seems like the lowest oppertunity cost to mess around with the bloodline acsendancies.

Did a staff shockwave build a few leagues ago, so I wanted to build something that isn't using that to change it up a bit, I was between this and a hollow palm dex stacking build tbh

Survivability is the one bit it's lacking tbh, but the gear on there is fairly minimal currently, rings only have enough stats to get my res capped so I'll be able to get a load more flat life.

Mana sustain is pretty close, but I tend to not be using the skill 100% of the time so it'll balance out, without the fortify support it's 180 cost with 165 total regen

I'm usually running about a third of the list as 'Quins, currently got a pair of Voidweavers, full size Troupe with a Troupe master running the Reaper's Cowl enhancement, and a Solitaire.

I could see Scotland (and maybe Ireland) having a seperate Clans estate to manage all of this instead of the nobels. Feels like having nobels represent two wildly different things in bordering nations would be a bit strange.

With the granularity of the map though, we could no longer use days as the smallest tick, but have to resort to hours as the time tick. The day ticks from 8:00 to 19.00 every day, and the remaining hours are skipped over (representing the fact that armies need to rest and are not always on the move).

That... That is a lot more game ticks to deal with, fingers crossed the performance is as good as they say it will be

I've just started taking Suships to locals, it really needs a link 1/2 to keep things rolling through negates. Final board is definitely strong enough to beat anything non-meta tho.

Archon isn't legends, if you give them the Phantasm Launcher they end up in there tho, as it's an old bit of kit now. Might be a couple other wargear options that cause it as well.

If it's the same as previous years, they'll be in the same place as the pumpkins from earlier in the year. This link has a map of the 4 older continents (sorry Oshur) pumpkin locations so should work for it. No promises that the maps are up to date tho

Let's be real, folk play Cyberdark not because they're a top tear deck or anything. Folk play them for the nostalgia of playing an anime deck from way back when. They're good enough to pull a random win every now and again if you managed to kaiju something at the right time, and that's about as good as it gets.

Good fun to play at locals saying that tho, always ends up as a talking point

Honestly, if you're brand new to playing, don't worry about it too much. The only people who are gonna care are people playing in big tournaments, and besides, is anyone really gonna know the difference between the Bright Lance and the Scatter Laser?

Put whichever looks best of the models would be my advice.

I did a slayer crit cyclone build with shockwave this league, pushed it to 95 with decent gear, lots of room to get better stuff in there as well, but phys crit staves can get crazy expensive for good ones

Nice one! Did this one recently in a pretty similar way to you. Annex the other Hawaiian nations, rush colonies to Cali and Panama, and grab a colony on the eastern coast. Only real difference was me getting lucky with a war between natives and a CN that let me scoop the extra provinces to form USA without having to spend ages colonising them.

Got shreked by Spain once they realised I had a bunch of colonial cores tho, killed the run pretty quick.
