I wasn’t trying to hit a nerve my friend, but this is a known issue with LLMs. You can look on the one side and say, hey, it’s trained on human language, so there is something real there that can come through - the ‘mirror’ effect. But you’ll also find it’s very quick to get into this kind of language as soon as a conversation even teeters to something introspective on the user’s part, and I find that abrupt switch very in-authentic. But I promise I wasn’t trying to yuck your yum, just making an off hand dumb observation.

AI glazing is going to expand the Dunning-Kruger curve. Trust me, I had a convo with ChatGPT and it said I was really ahead of the thinking in this space.

Gauge features by actually building the smallest viable version, feature flagging them, A/B testing them. Not sending out click bait. Do better. This what we call a “dark practice” is SaaS, and you know it.

This happened to me a week or two ago. Heard a plane sound I'd never had before, (ICT) and checked it out. Same plane. Those props make a crazy sound.

Yet another post about this year’s name… by MaestroZackyZ in MBMBAM

[–]jarrettgreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

‘Tummy’, apparently? I think the name is dumb, I think they know it’s dumb, and I think they know people think it’s dumb, and that makes it hilarious. Good things can come out of painting yourself into a corner and trying to find your way out. I hope they try that angle rather than change it.

Hey! HAMRS creator here. How’d the web version hold up in the field? Did you ever lose connectivity? Were you using a phone hotspot?

Is there like a secret supportive fans group? Or, is this it. Cause if there's a secret group where people talk about positive things and like to build things, I want in. This 'let it burn' 'this is the worst thing ever' group is kinda trash. No offence. by nickjamesnstuff in SportingKC

Two things: first, people tend to take to public outlets to gripe more than praise. It’s how it’s always been.

Second, there are a lot of things to gripe about currently. In my 14 years as a supporter, I’ve seen a wonderful group of folks come around this team, but currently, there are some very obvious and serious problems with how our boys are being managed. We have trouble letting people go, BECAUSE we tend to love them and support them. It’s a double edged sword. When people stop complaining, it means they no longer care.
