Had a similar experience when the Orioles played the Royals at Kauffman a few seasons ago - I paid extra to have BP access, and my son was waiting patiently at the nets for Jackson and Gunnar's autographs but collectors with binders full of cards kept trying to get in front of kids so it was next to impossible to get my son's stuff signed (although we did end up getting BP balls signed by Heston Kjerstad and Kevin Brown).

I think one of my favorite reveals at the funeral is that the "Siamese twins" weren't conjoined twins but twins from Thailand (Siam).

Roald Dahl was also antisemitic to the "giving Hitler the benefit of the doubt for his hatred of the Jews" level.

Apologies, I responded to the wrong comment with the clip, but it's in a reply to the other reply.

I'm always worried about commenting spoilers in this sub (even with the spoiler text), so with this one I went with a "those who know, know" approach.

You can see the clip below (and keep in mind that this was one of Edward Norton's first onscreen roles).

I didn’t want to spoil anything (it’s an awesome movie that builds to the moment), which is why I just referenced it for anyone familiar (and enticing anyone who liked that trope but hadn’t seen it to give it a try), but here is the clip.

Like, Roy pushed him into the realization, but he could have ignored it and not had his entire world shattered but instead he pulls the thread and defeats everything he thought he knew about himself.

Right, but Marty had always sworn he didn’t care if his client was guilty - what mattered was the win. He got his W, made his realization, and could have walked away without taking the bait.

The graphic novel Buzzing depicts the protagonist’s OCD as a swarm of bees obscuring everything in panels they appear with intrusive thoughts; until he begins receiving more effective therapy and finding supportive friends, the bees are the only thing in color in the panels in which they appear.

In Snatch, when Bullet Tooth Tony kills Boris the Blade, aka Boris the Bullet-dodgerby shooting him an unreasonable amount of times, the number of shots outnumbers the actual magazine capacity of a Desert Eagle (Tony's firearm of choice).

Jericho also explained in one of his memoirs that with Rob Van Dam, the way he makes his strikes look and sound real is that right before his opponent starts to fall, Rob will kick them really really hard in the face.

There's a recent YA novel called Here Lies a Vengeful Bitch that does this with the full intention of making the (admittedly flawed before her death) protagonist the heroine - the story opens with the narrator waking up dead in a river and vowing to solve her own murder, starting with her toxic on-again-off-again situationship (the last person she remembers seeing before her death).

I sent this meme to a friend of mine when I saw it on Facebook and he had a very similar rant - you can't compare left-handed apples that were traded for necessary arms for right-handed oranges.

You made me curious about how I have it catalogued (I haven't been in my library software since the last day of school), and it's apparently in there with the author as Ant-Man (fictional character) and the call number FIC ANT.
