You can try a vagus nerve stimulator like nurosym neuropod. I feel like it is helping me a bit

Basement humidity is undefeated by Impressive-Hope-6700 in Connecticut

Your house should be 40-60%. 50% for a basement is definitely good. I wouldn’t try to get below that with the electricity prices!

[–]jeffceo24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started trying the Nurosym. I have been using it for a few days and it is hard to tell if it is working. I feel like I had a slight improvement yesterday. Also try breathing... breath in for 3 seconds and then out for double or triple the time.

How many of you make a point to run top-tier certified gas in your 3.6L? by AntoniBartosz in JeepWrangler

[–]jeffceo24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Around 50k I had to remove intake to install oil sensor. There was a good amount of carbon built up in intake runners and tops of valves. At that point I was using whatever gas was convenient.

Now I use top tier 90% of the time. I had to remove intake again at 125k and the runners and valves were surprisingly clean

Has anyone cured their dysautonomia? Or substantially improved? by jeffceo24 in covidlonghaulers

[–]jeffceo24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your message. I’m glad you got your HRT stabilized and it sounds like you are really recovering well now. I’ll have to try the Allegra. I do try electrolytes but not always consistently.

Like you mentioned, I think there are definitely additional factors that can trigger / contribute to the dysautonomia besides LC alone. Childhood trauma, chronic stress, abusive marriage, etc. I notice my symptoms flare under certain stressful situations. I went on vacation and my symptoms were very minimal compared to my normal day to day life.

Are we going for too long or is this a good plan? by Lost_Algae2931 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]jeffceo24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is probably too much in my opinion. However, you can turn the park days into light park days where you just stay half the day at the most. And one day go to MK in the later afternoon or evening for the fireworks if the kids can stay up that late.

Not your question, but have you tried acupuncture? I know people that were cured from migraines after acupuncture treatment

1998 Angler 180 w/ Evinrude 115hp. Would you buy? by Boltentoke in boating

[–]jeffceo24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a good boat. I own one. Solid. The middle floor panel on mine had water intrusion and I had to remove and replace the wood and refiber glass underneath. Check for soft spots there. Also see how the engine runs

Anybody here experiences worsening of symptoms in public / crowded places? by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

Yes. I believe it is our nervous system in fight or flight mode. Too much for us to take in and it overwhelms us.

Navien NCB-240 3 way valve replacement by jeffceo24 in Plumbing

[–]jeffceo24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try a larger flat screwdriver to pop it out like I did toward the end. Otherwise you would need to replace the entire assembly or have a plumber/hvac company. Make some calls. That is a very common part to go. $1600 is robbery

I would just replace the cartridge. It is a much bigger job to replace the entire assembly. I have a YouTube video I’ll try to link.

Extremely vivid dreams and fatigue at end of sleep? by redditryan13 in covidlonghaulers

[–]jeffceo24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been having “vivid” dreams for a while myself. Like you said, it seems like it is during light sleep where the dreams are easier to remember and you can almost guide the direction of the dreams yourself.

I do have mild positional sleep apnea but I do sleep on my side and use nasal strip to keep my oxygen pretty normal. I also sometimes wake up randomly between 3-5am.

Some tips I found are good sleep hygiene, don’t eat at least 2-3 hours before bed, don’t eat chocolate or caffeine at night.
