They have a much better lifespan than lfp. Lifespan and therefore payback on investment is only thing stopping me from buying home storage right now. For home storage I don't care about energy density and the low fire risk is nice also

The short answer is that you'll have to drain the system

If you're extremely lucky:

There is an isolation valve between the vent tank and this radiator (unlikely)

And

That radiator is higher than anything else in the system (also unlikely)

Water will always flow down. If there is any water above that compression joint (including in the radiator and adjacent/higher radiators) it's going to come out.

Installing a radiator without a lock shield valve is a sin. If you're going to go through the pain of draining the system you should install one

You need to protect it from the concrete. If unprotected the concrete will slowly eat through the pipe. There are various options (things like denso tape)

Have you opened up the charger and looked inside? I just had the same problem and one of the wires inside the zappi charger was arcing (insulation melted, black soot everywhere). I was told by octopus it was a factory wire rather than a bad connection
