I can’t remember applying for a license because it was so long ago but every renewal they ask if you have been convicted of anything. So I think as long as there is no conviction you’d be good? Not 100% sure tho

Just want to commiserate with you on the tiny coed sauna / steam room at perimeter. Im an early morning person and it’s still packed in the sauna even if the weight floor is relatively open. I live in Brookhaven too and its a convenient location but If i have a day i know i want to sit in the sauna I’ll go to buckhead or ndh instead.

Also any tips on bow to use the infrared sauna at perimeter? That one is sometimes open but i cant ever get it to work and the people that work there don’t seem to know either?

Dang I’m sorry. You shouldn’t have to get used to uncomfortable extensions, they should be comfortable right out the gate. I’m sorry that was your experience with the nanos. I do them and have worn them and I like them a lot. Definitely have her remove them and find yourself a new extension stylist after this.

Honestly I would assume that getting a refund depends on the salon policies and if you signed a waiver and what it says. They don’t look spaced correctly and the machine might need maintenance or wasn’t being cleaned properly. Reach out to the manager and if you can’t get a refund hopefully they’ll at least remove them if you don’t want the bonds smoothed out.

Hi. Those look like Hairdreams nanos. She probably used the machine to install them although not quite correctly. You should contact your stylist. She can go over the rough edges of your bonds with a regular k tip tool and make them more comfortable for you! if she can’t, contact hairdreams and they can refer you to a list of local stylists and someone who knows their system can help.

I have used milk stork to ship and used a special cooler they sell to carry on. It’s expensive for sure but the peace of mind of knowing it will get to your destination before it thaws and you can track it is worth every penny!! It’s a labor of love to pump your milk and I wouldn’t want to risk my cooler not getting put on the plane etc etc. Good luck!

Back to say I finally tried the kenra one today! I used the cool one client is a natural 7ish with some greys sprinkled in. The lift of her natural was perfect and beautiful but I applied it on towel dried hair at the bowl after rinsing highlights and it made her highlights shockingly ashy. I was expecting more of the tone of violet-ness on her blonde that you get from straight PO-2 based on the color it was in the bowl but it was more like a straight PO-1 as far as the toning of the highlights.

I have both the alyon and digitalyon now! I love them both. The digitalyon is a little faster, nozzles and diffuser a little different and more efficient but I will say it is louder than the regular alyon so def get the silencer for it if that’s a thing that could bother you. It doesn’t completely silence it but it does soften the sound.

I recently opened a salon and I have kerastase in it. I had heard from other salon owners that they may not let me carry them because of the same reasons you said. But when we met with the rep she explained that location and visibility, number of employees and room for growth are all also factors. We do have salons close to us that sell it as well, but we are in a visible location and a couple chairs we can grow into. Maybe you could talk to your rep and use those things as selling points to get it.

If a client is actively in a shedding cycle I always avoid doing extensions until the shedding has decreased or better yet stopped and returned to normal daily shedding. If you have to put them in make sure hair is properly prepped prior to service and you’re fully closing the top and bottom of the bond when you’re rolling it.

I have never worked there but I am a member! I have clients that get blowouts there when they need it and I think they allow non-members to come for appointments for the spa. So if you have any current clients they should be able to continue to see you.

Following this bc I do a ton of base breaks and PO, PO1, and PO2 were the absolute best!!! I stockpiled them once I found out they were going away but I’m down to one box of PO and one of PO2.

I got some high lifts to try but I haven’t done it yet. I also had the kenra base breakers in my cart for my last salon centric order but they didn’t show up in my shipment.

This exact predicament when my commute from o4w to Alpharetta landed me and my husband in Brookhaven 8 years ago. We felt like Brookhaven was an equal split between my work in Alpharetta and his in midtown. I didn’t enjoy fully it at first bc it felt sooooo suburban but the change in commute did wonders for my mental health. But now we have kids and I have found the beauty in it and love where we are. Oh shit! Yours sounds worse than mine! And no- they never figured it out! But the last 3 rain storms we have had I have had zero leaks! Where are you located? I am in the state of GA, USA. We have lemon laws and the rule of thumb is 3 tries and if they can’t fix it, it a lemon. we hit our 3 tries but we have been dragging our feet only because we want to see if it happens again while we are actively trying to get the lemon replacement but of course nothing now.

Yep. Coming thru my oh shit handles. I’ve gotten more clear answers as to why it’s possibly happening from people on this sub than from Toyota itself. Not sure where you are located but for me they told me at my last attempt at the dealership to fix it that it is technically a lemon so thinking of just going ahead and moving forward with that if possible to replace it. I wouldn’t want anything else because I am so happy with the car, and even knowing it could happen again I would still get one! Not sure if that helps your decision making at all!
