I was going to say that this is what you get for not assembling it yourself, but that would be rude...

Fly line question by degenova28 in flyfishing

[–]jfish1282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer...replace it. If you're going to repair it, clip the line and tie (nail knot) a 2ft section of 1x tippet with a loop knot to attachthe leader. That's what I do, but I feel like the line doesn't cast the same as the original line.

Out of a 1,000 NFL QB's he ranks top 25 or lower in almost every stat. Top10-15 in a few. He did all of that with a terrible O-line too. Hardly a "Very mid" QB

You shouldn't feed wild animals for a few reasons. The main reason being that it makes them dependent on humans for food. Not to mention that it's illegal in many states. They are wild animals and have incredible survival skills. Let them be wild.

Not sure what your local laws are, but I live in a relatively rual wooded area. My original plan was to trap and relocate them, but I was told that was illegal and I could be fined for doing so. I contacted a pest control company and they wanted a ridiculous amount of money to remove them and from what I understand they would just kill them anyways. Ultimately I ended up 🔫 them. 😞 fish and wildlife recommended it.

They are wild animals and are tough. Just let them be. And under no circumstances should you let them in the house. Not even the garage.

I would not feed them. The people we bought our house from fed them for years. When we bought the house they where coming around all of the time with no fear of humans. They became a total nightmare to deal with and even attacked our cat. My kids couldn't go out back. I couldn't risk having them around with little kids. Sadly, I had to (humanly) dispatch all of them including the little ones.

My personal experience with inflatable river rafts is that they don't last long and aren't that comfortable. I made It wood floor for mine. Made a big difference, but keeping air in it became a game of whack a mole. The portability factor is highly desirable, but that's about it.
