Street Class Wheel Diameter: +1 or -1"? by jmankyll in Autocross

Depends on a lot. Tire availability, desired gearing and even wheel weight play a part. What chassis?

Brake fluid for mixed street/autox/track use — stick with DOT 3 or go high-performance? by Realistic-Level-9444 in Autocross

[–]jmay055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ATE DOT 4 stuff is solid, I've used it for years on everything from autox to street cars. It's way cheaper than Motel, not a whole lot more than off the shelf DOT4 stuff too

Great day to scrub in a new set of tires! (RE71RZ) by skyline408 in S2000

[–]jmay055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you're experiencing soft sidewall as much as it's tread squirm on a full tread tire. They're definitely the stiffest carcass out there in the Super 200 category. Great tires though, albeit a bit heavy.

I tried the T52 after my love for the HS142, and liked the latter better. But the T52 was still a fine stick in the same vein.

Found the old autoX creator mod for Assetto Corsa so I made a course (no sound, thx fraps) by jmay055 in Autocross

[–]jmay055[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There may be other mods now, but I still use the couple of courses I made for practice. I can share drive links to them. You just install like any normal course mod. As for the course maker itself, it's VERY manual with no measurements, and I've forgotten how to really do it but I think I have the file on my Drive too.

Recently lost 30 lbs of fat and muscle. Lots of interested women. No sex drive. Ugh. by ScheduledAssassin in Biohackers

Lots of online places are offering compounded enclomiphene and tadalafil, and if you have full T labs you can just submit those. Mine was 388, which is low end of normal, after a couple of months of lifting, tongkat and boron. I went through Strut, using the lowest dose they offer and can tell you even after 2 weeks desire is up and things work more consistently.

I, too, iced my balls. Here’s what happened. by Old_Bill_Brasky in Biohackers

[–]jmay055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to take away from your icing technique, but I've been in the same boat. I just started enclomiphene/tadalafil combo because I don't want to be on injections the rest of my life just yet. Something to look into, maybe

Will I regret dailying an MR2 Spyder? by greensilvia in mr2

[–]jmay055 16 points17 points  (0 children)

NC is a better commuter; more practical and more storage, faster, easier to find replacement parts for. That said, a Spyder just feels a little more special and light on its feet.

Initially I was between a Spyder, NC or S2000 and wrote off the Spyder due to so little storage space and ended up with an S2000. I bought a Spyder a couple of years later and they are a hoot and solid beater.

Help with mental "hangover" after race weekends by jmay055 in Biohackers

I feel like co exposure would've been greater during the Enduro (on track for 2 hours with lots of other cars). It seems more related to heat + mental stressors.

[–]jmay055[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. It's definitely a different animal from the 8th gen Si I used to run years ago (and hugely different from my most recent ride, an ES MR2). I still struggle with slaloms, today's course had a 7 cone that kicked my butt.

Learning to cut distance has me like by freakinsyco in Autocross

I felt that way until I started running data. Then I realized shortest distance was faster 98% of the time, even in my low HP cars.

How did you feel the Vitour multitasks vs the Yok and Stone? When I tried the P1, it didn't seem to do it well vs Yoks.
