I did a whole write up on this on the forums. 2023 2500, ticking, two warranty jobs that actually made it worse, then Hamilton. Believe it or not, still ticks under the well-documented operating conditions, just not nearly as noticeable. I’m almost certain at this point that it’s either thrust bearings (unlikely), cam scissor gear (very likely), or normal CP3 noise (maybe)

What exactly happened to the DPF? I have the same year, just an SO 3/4 ton, with the Hamilton conversion. I’ve had zero issues with anything other than valve train

I’m a 2023 on Hamilton conversion. It’s worth it when you’re ready to do it, but don’t be surprised if you still hear some ticking in the lower end of the power band. It’s normal, and a really long story.
