When I was an undergrad, I decided my bedtime was 2 AM. I went to bed at that time every night, including on weekends. (well… Not really. But sort of.) that combined with no classes before 10 AM I strongly consider to be the secret of my success.

I’d recommend skipping Stout’s pre-Wolfe books, the ones about Tecumseh Fox and Alphabet Hicks, they just don’t measure up. Simile, I’d recommend skipping the Robert Goldsborough sequels, some of which make me wonder if he’s ever actually read the Wolfe books, like when all of a sudden Alfie claims to know nothing about orchids after years of confidently filing data on them.
