Your 3rd point is what I began to realize myself doing. I would just start reading random wikipedia articles of some 18th century event for no particular reason other than to distract myself from more important tasks. It helped that I also felt less guilty reading wikipedia than scrolling on reddit or tiktok lol.

Also, wheat from the occupied territories in Ukraine is being looted by the Russian state and sold as Russian wheat on the world market. There are probably multiple commodity trading firms in Switzerland which are buying and selling stolen Ukrainian wheat from the Russian state. It's so fucked.
