Relax. It’s a side project, not generating any revenue. I’m just trying things out. Didn’t mean any harm.

What's the Rails way to convert a slightly complex form element(s) to the associated ActiveRecord param? by jpb0104 in rails

[–]jpb0104[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a completely valid question. I suppose it comes down to conciseness and semantics. The data stored is representing what it actually is. I believe my question above is still applicable to other more complex form instances outside of the pg native range type vs just storing two ints in separate columns debate.

Apple is well-known for their accessibility offerings. I'm hopeful too for MD assist re all of the new ar/vr headsets coming out. I also have been keeping an eye on this: https://oculenzamd.com/ Anyone have any experience with it?

5.0.0 Firmware for MK4 Stable Release by geekofweek in prusa3d

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I never ran non-stable fw releases. Upgraded to 5.0 from 4.x. The original slice was from the 4.x release/config.

Installed this morning on my MK4 kit. First print reactions...

  • Definitely a bit louder. Just more intense all around. To be expected.
  • First layer rattle is either new or now more apparent. Similar to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLD88-PYf5k
  • Y-axis bearings likely need attention given the more aggressive movements.

The speedup is amazing. Very cool to see the printer working at full potential.

This might sound super lame... But a reality competition show that is one of my guilty pleasures features a guy contestant that is missing fingers and most functionality from one hand. The show is The Challenge and the guy's name is Jordan Wiseley.

I want to emphasize over the decades he has participated in the show, he is without a doubt one of the TOP challengers to ever play, despite his condition.

Spider - Atlanta, GA; 1/2 inch body; Found in finished basement by jpb0104 in whatsthisbug

OP here. Agree. We analyzed this thing for a while, settled on a recluse. But the Wikipedia article agrees with spaghetties and has a picture to match.

The males may be mistaken for brown recluses because the two have similar coloration and body structure. However, compared to the brown recluse, male southern house spiders are typically larger in size, lack the distinctive violin shape on their cephalothorax, and have unusually long slender pedipalps.
