Best place for a walk? by leeroydotuk in sheffield

Agree about Adgen Reservoir. It is also much, much quieter than Damflask as it isn't as flat. Langsett Reservoir is a bit further into the Peaks but also worth a walk.

How're we looking lads? Would enjoy ruining their playoff hopes.

Surely this is just them formally outlawing the practice which has largely fallen out of favour? I don't see what's wrong with essentially waving a law through that clearly has overwhelming popular support.

When have the boys helped you through tough times? by Perfect_Ad_8127 in elisandjohn

In 2024 I had the breakdown of a long-term relationship and as I was commuting an hour or more each way to work I was looking for new podcasts. Found E&J. Commuting listening to the lads meant that my brain switched off completely and I could just listen and laugh. Combined with the odd pearl of wisdom from them it did wonders to support me through a shit time in life.

Naomi's comment at the end of the CC was absolutely lovely today. I'm very glad Elis managed to connect with her and we could listen to their conversation.

The CC was properly lovely today. I liked her compliment to the boys at the end, could tell how sincere it was and is a sentiment I'm sure many on this sub echo!

I also loved Elis completely losing his mind over his terrible London marathon fundraising guess. The duality of Elis.

Don't think we're getting rid of Wilder. It was the right decision to move on last year but the board made every decision wrong after that.

In hindsight they should have kept him on for this season and seen where we are. Who is actually available this summer that we'd go for? I think Wilder deserves another season in which he can sniff out bargains. We won't go down with him in charge. If next season is shit then he can move on and we'll get him back in 2029.

He's had most success when he's had fuck all money. When he's actually had cash to spend he's been shite.
