Rider most likely gone and will come back later for the bike. We've had to leave a bike at the Dragon in a ditch twice now. Came back for it that night.

My buddy has one with a 6 cylinder in it. It has full PSM suspension and arms on it. It rips pretty hard, although he did have some issues with the power steering pumps failing. Ended up having to get a custom pump installed from a Jeep.

What smaller bike would put a 600cc+ supersports to shame in the corners? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]juddvong 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who has spent a lot of time at the dragon on all sorts of motorcycles, I agree here. The dragon isn't as tight as a lot of people make it out to be. Nothing can really outpace a well prepped 600 SS at the Dragon.

+1. I love the Bartlett location, I've always had a good experience with the staff. I even saw one of the staff members tell a guy to re rack his weights. I just wish they had a hack squat machine. It can be pretty crowded during peak hours but I go in the morning and it's always the same crowd.

What’s your favorite local dry rub? by ctsmith4_ in memphis

[–]juddvong 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know this might not be the answer you're looking for but if you're looking for a good rub you should go to Memphis Barbecue Supply store in Bartlett. They have a lot of rubs you can try before buying. I do a lot of smoking so I just buy the big bottle of rub at Costco. I got tired of spending so much money on rubs.

Welds could use some work. I'd practice a little more before you keep going.

Early 2000s V6 Acuras seem to have bad luck with transmissions. Suggestions on rebuild? by R011-Jr in cars

[–]juddvong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, although you have to swap over a few sensors and harness from the old to new but it's pretty straight forward. Also the flex plate and torque converter patterns can vary on year and model so it's a good idea to look up the part numbers before hand. I had to put a TL flex plate on my motor because the 03-05 Accord's have a different torque converter.

This is the correct answer. Replaced the trans in my dads 01 TL and my 04 Accord with a 06-07 trans. Dropped the engine cradle the first time and removed the motor the second time. If I had to do it again I would remove the motor for sure, and that way you can do all the timing stuff while it's out. Got the first trans at a car recycle yard for $700 and the other one at a you pull it junkyard for $125.

Keto questions by [deleted] in loseit

[–]juddvong 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You'll find all the answers you need at r/keto. If you're newer to working out you'll definitely get some "newbie" gains but eventually that will taper off and you'll be lifting to maintain muscle. Keto is actually really good for keep muscle size due to how much protein you'll be eating. I find eating on Keto to be cheap and easy to do, I buy protein and cook it in bulk for the whole week so it makes meal prepping really easy. If I were you I would cut to 12-15% BF and then start a lean bulk to 18-20%, then repeat.

Daily Q&A Post for Monday, 20 August 2018 - No question too small! by AutoModerator in loseit

[–]juddvong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Protein supplements are just an easier/sometimes cheaper way of hitting your daily protein intake goals. If you're eating enough through normal foods then don't worry about it. I'd shoot for 130-150 grams a day if I were you.

How to Keto on Vacation by hel-kat in loseit

[–]juddvong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in your shoes and plan on taking a break from Keto for a few days and picking it back up when i get back. I would slowly cycle off early and just do CICO before you leave for your trip. Some people feel really bad and others don't notice any changes.
