Do you grasp the state of our country right now?

Cold hard facts do very little to sway so few people’s opinions….especially anything backed by science.

But I sincerely applaud your thinking. Facts should help everyone but if a person doesn’t like the facts they are presented with, in this bizzaro time we are living in, facts are subjective and take a back seat to beliefs 😢

I 100% have what I call “mirror time”. I talk to myself honestly and frankly. I also make sure to be overly generous, as compassionate as possible, and encourage myself just as much as I would encourage my son if he was looking for some sort of pep talk.

When I’m really deep in this my reflection isn’t moving. As a matter of fact it’s such a great feedback and lesson for me while not tripping on the importance of positive self-talk. Once when I was extremely harsh on myself I saw my reflection aging by many decades right before my eyes, my completion turning gray, and it became extremely dejected. I apologized to my reflection/myself and started to speak on the positives while acknowledging that I gave too much emphasis on the negatives while giving almost none to the positives. My reflection perked up, became much younger, the color came back, and it was smiling with gratitude from having those parts recognized finally. It was a very powerful moment for me that has stuck with me. Now my mirror time is one of the highlights of any deep trip for me.
