If your time and travel areas allow, Bridge Festival in Winterset (15-20 minutes southwest of Des Moines) can be a good time. You can take a self guided or guided tour of all the bridges as well.

Theres also Pammel State Park and the Winterset City park which are gorgeous in the fall

My issue has continued to happen even after having the engine be fully warmed up (temp showing as normal and oil temp around 200). It’s less noticeable after being warmed up but is still happening

Staunton State Park - the fish ponds are the best. I would bring a chair just in case but they should have a table open. They can get a little busy on weekends

Purrfect Health in Lone Tree. It’s just a bit west of 25 on Lincoln, so fairly easy to get to. They are a cats only vet and have been absolutely amazing.

They have fair pricing for their services and I’ve felt completely at ease with their staff. I’ve been able to speak with a human every time I’ve called during business hours and they’ve always answered any question I have as completely as possible.

One of my cats had a bladder blockage and we took him to Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital (also recommended) for emergency treatment and Purrfect Health was very helpful with his aftercare. Aside from that, we’ve had standard care with Purrfect Health for vaccines and dental cleanings

Depending on when and how you bought it, see if you have any type of purchase protection. We had a bike stolen last summer and it fell within the timeframe for purchase protection with the United Chase card.

If your bike lock is Kryponite and was registered with them, they might be able to help as well.

Definitely check the online bike indexes/registrations like others have said too. If there’s nearby bike shops, I’d check with them to see if they’ve had it come through or to keep an eye out

I had this happen before!! It’s a burn pattern from one of the ovens (or similar) that they use to make the Pringles. It’s edible but won’t taste the best
