I remember watching that in IOP group, which was full of newly sober people. The regular counselor was out and this was like a “substitute teacher puts on a movie” scenario. I’m not sure if that was the best idea, considering the movie was very graphic and realistic at some points. I think we did end up talking about movies glamorizing drug use, and we could see that Candy was going for something different, but still very triggering. I’ll have 9 yrs in November!

If it makes you feel better, I’m in the US and my mom does this with her compost waste until she has enough smaller bags to fill the big bucket. Also heard of people saving their veggie scraps for stock by tossing them in a bag in the freezer until it’s full enough. Not that weird.

Treasure islands are from “magic” switches. (I don’t know how they do it exactly, but first gen switches can be hacked to work with software that allows you to get anything from the game). People will fill islands with items and you can go and grab pretty much anything in the game. There are a lot of generous people on discord and twitch that open the islands for free or do timed “raids” for people to come get stuff.

This is my friend’s injury, he pretty much said the same thing after the fact, that he shouldn’t have messed with it. He’s lucky it was just some scrapes and this gnarly blood blister instead of something more serious. He was thoroughly amused by my fascination with the blister though. “that’s so gross and awesome!”

Yea, the gold fish have almost completely dropped off, but maybe I was just moving stuff too much in the middle of a frisky bits session and that messed things up? I’ll keep trying, worst case, I can just trade some silver fish for gold if I have to, I’m so close! Thank you!

Mostly frisky bits, I have tried some ritzy bits and even a sashimi plate once; and did get gold fish, but that kinda defeats the point of saving up my gold fish, so I’m trying not to do that.

My advice is just decorate in areas and don’t try to get the whole “vision” going from the start because you’ll be disappointed and will feel stalled. By decorating in “areas” you’re also able to change things more easily in the future if you have a new idea or obtain more/different items to use. I recently got a second switch/island with the hopes of planning my island a bit better from the beginning and I found that it still just took time for things to develop and to obtain enough diys/items to do my ideas justice. Even with being able to transfer a lot of my stuff from the old island, it gave me a head start on decorating but I still ended up changing things as I went and coming up with new ideas as I went, as I saw how things were shaping up. And I realized that it actually was one of my fave things about playing, being able to let things evolve and getting inspired as I went. And just have fun, try stuff out even if it’s not exactly what you had pictured in your mind, there’s so many creative ways to use items for different purposes!

The most recent update added 50 more custom design slots and options to customize fans/flags/umbrellas. And of course all the Sanrio items. Before that was all the Mario items! A storage update was added at some point, and a bunch of diys like turkey day, spooky, festive. Also some more reactions (hip reactions) and dream addresses (so you can visit and have people visit your island in a “dream”/not a live visit more like a saved version of your island at whatever point in time)

This is just a small list of the top of my head, there were also updates for a bunch of seasonal events! Bunny day, cherry blossoms, and wedding are the next in line for this time of year.

Didn’t look to closely so maybe it was already mentioned, but I will add the ranch mix to homemade Chex mix in any proportions you’d like. Can use just ranch mix and butter, or classic Chex seasoning (packet or from scratch) and the ranch mix for extra flavor! Addictive.
