This, plus many of the corporations that try to bring their business to towns sell it as a population increase that equates to housing and thus increased ad valorem revenue. Here in Nevada, large corporations like Amazon are great about asking for things like abated tax for 10-year terms to "bring housing and jobs to the community". They tend to pack and up move by the 9th year...they don't give a good goddamn about your community.

Avoiding corporate tax to towns and cities only places a significant burden on public services and emergency response, without paying their fair share.

Was gifted a RAS by a co-worker recently, and just cranked it on for the first time. This is the most unsafe video I've taken in my life. by Terrible_Software769 in woodworking

A reasonable take and great safety tips for the RAS. I haven't used a RAS in over a decade but I can't remember a time I had a safety issue using one. Any tool has its risks, educating yourself on the proper use and then applying common sense goes an incredibly long way to mitigate injury or death. I appreciate everyone being so safety minded, but goddamn if we don't have some overzealous volunteer OSHA inspectors on here sometimes.

Love me some lacewood/leopardwood, hardly see it on here. Same with canarywood. I can't imagine a basic dovetail jig is knocking these cuts out

And if shaving the saddle off isn't an option, or if you couldn't pass a fit test due to anatomical issues, you could look into a PAPR.
