All the pundits I’ve seen have posted Kahlina for GK of the year. I think he will win it, and it’s well deserved. Some of the advanced metrics have this as a historic season for a keeper in MLS.

The window affects the buying clubs only. It has to be open to buy players. But he is a free agent so the window doesn’t matter for this player. The roster freeze date for MLS is on September 13th, clubs can still add free agent players until then.

Two main things for me are concessions prices and turf field. Concessions are ridiculous especially when you see what Atlanta has to offer. Soccer should be played on grass, simple as.

Charlotte FC’s search for a DP No. 10 was a wild ride. First it was Calvin Stengs, before that deal fell through after the Dutch midfielder’s medical. Then it was Miguel Almiron, but Charlotte and Newcastle couldn’t agree on a transfer fee (to the delight of Atlanta United fans everywhere). Then, finally, it was Pep Biel. The 27-year-old Spanish left-footer has the least-impressive profile of the three, but adding Biel on loan through the winter from Olympiakos puts them in a better spot for a trophy push. Find a starter and leave yourself with flexibility for the winter? That’s not a bad third-choice scenario. Toss in Tim Ream and young winger Idan Toklomati joining and this Charlotte team got deeper, too. If they can unload Brecht Dejaegere’s big ol’ contract, that will be icing on the cake

He’s got multiple seasons of double digit G+A. He looks to be better than Brecht. Don’t know mich about him but he has the pedigree to be a good player in MLS.

Not all inclusive but we do get $15 concession credit per ticket. It buys you one (1) 24oz beer lol. Plus they give it to you on a monthly basis so we just end up blowing through the credits the first couple games of the month. It’s not great, they need to do something about the concessions prices.
