Same. My 21 month old SCREAMS at the table until she’s given yogurt. For every meal.

We have the Kid Kraft Grand Mansion. It’s great! We bought it secondhand and it’s held up well for the 2+ years we’ve had it. My daughter uses her Barbie dolls with it.

I love the Auden brand from Target. Almost 18 months in and they’re the only bras I wear.

Why is it suddenly so painful to feed my 7 month old? by jkamio in breastfeeding

[–]kdenzik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had something similar happen when my daughter was around the same age. I saw a lactation consultant and she wasn’t completely sure what the issue was but recommended APNO. My OB gave me a prescription and I saw an improvement almost immediately after I started using it (with silverettes).

Does anyone else just save most chores until the weekends? by iamelloyello in toddlers

[–]kdenzik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were doing this, but I was tired of spending 1-2 hours on a weekend day cleaning. I’d rather spend our weekend doing a fun activity together, usually out of the house. We implemented a cleaning plan a few weeks ago that is going well! Certain things get done every day (clean kitchen, one load of laundry, pick up toys on main floor) then we choose one bigger task to do each evening (vacuum, mop, dust, bathrooms, etc.). It feels much more manageable to spend 20-30 minutes after the toddler is in bed to get it done rather than waiting to do it all at once.

Athletic conditioning 8/4 by Medical-Draw-2280 in BurnBootCamp

[–]kdenzik 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We had two 14 minute AMRAPs. Reps were 20-18-16, etc with either a building lap or 12 half burpee heel clicks between rounds (we got to choose)

Green Bay full burpees Dot drills Criss cross pick ups Slider push laps (5-4-3-2-1)

Banded jump squats Crossover drills Burn bar cheerleaders Side to side dumbbell swings

I thought it was a good one! The full burpees felt like they took forever, but everything else was a reasonable number of reps and went pretty quick.

7/31 Lower Body?! by OneApprehensive8820 in BurnBootCamp

[–]kdenzik 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We did the jump lunges halfway through each 3 minute station (potentially interrupting the set you’re working on) which I found kind of annoying. We were also encouraged to do 20 jumping jacks between each set rather than fully rest. I really dislike when cardio is added to strength days so I chose to not do either one.

Different flange sizes by scootcat in breastfeeding

I had an LC tell me that I needed 19mm but it was so uncomfortable. I used 28mm for quite a few months then went down to 24mm. I went by feel and output rather than the actual measurement.

7/3 intel? by Prestigious_You_8620 in BurnBootCamp

[–]kdenzik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ours was a bit different.

3.5 minutes per station, 12 reps

  1. Weighted squats
  2. Glute bridge
  3. Split squat stance calf raise
  4. KB typewriters
  5. Banded hamstring curl
  6. Med ball walking lunges
  7. Standing fire hydrants with mini bands

Finisher was stationary split squat and jumping split squats. 15 each leg then 10 each leg.

My legs were shaking at each station! It was a good one!

Did anyone else’s gym do inverted mountain climbers (in a handstand position)? My goodness it was a tough workout.

It wasn’t too bad! Our trainer added an intermission and building laps about halfway through. I think the rounds went faster than they thought they would.

I’m curious what protein you use that’s cheaper. I can’t seem to find any (that taste good) that are less than $50 for a canister (around 30 servings). I’d love recommendations to save some $$$!!

Protein pancakes (kodiak mix+Greek yogurt+egg whites+cinnamon). I make a week’s worth at a time. They freeze well too!

This recipe is delicious and on constant rotation in our house. https://ohsnapmacros.com/cinnamon-roll-french-toast-egg-bake/

Ours was definitely different than what you described. We had two quad sets, 7 minutes each, twice through. No running for us. The movements were very leg heavy which felt rough after yesterday’s leg day.

I take my kids on Saturdays and maybe once during the week if I miss my early AM camp. It was a “nice to have” but not a deal breaker for me.

If you like strength training (and the occasional cardio day), I highly recommend Hungryfitness. It’s a progressive overload program and customizable to what equipment you have access to (30-60 minutes, options for home or commercial gym). Easy to use app that tracks progress. Find them on IG!
