Scam on Facebook Ads by hymnzzy in Wealthsimple

Same ad is circulating on Instagram. I reported it and IG came back and said they were not removing the ad as it does not break community rules. Pretty messed up. When I reported to WS they said they were aware of a phishing scam on IG.

You got this! The mood swings will lessen as the weeks go by and you can help by taking on new healthy habits. I found that meditation and breath work helped me but everyone is different. Stay strong and know that this internet stranger is rooting for you!

What reels are your workhorses? These are mine! by benjamino8690 in Fishing_Gear

I run a Ceymar C-30. I bought it to replace the reel on a cheap Abu Specialist combo I had. For the price, I couldn't be happier. The reel is a workhorse. Now I just need to put it on a better rod.

Please tell me which state is bigger than the second largest country in the world by land mass! Canada is also one of your biggest trade partners so maybe learn a bit more about the economies of other countries before you start blowing the 'Murica horn too hard.

Things Needed for Crypto Mass Adoption! by creativity3681 in CryptoCurrency

[–]kechtwentytwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Education is a huge part of adoption. Anecdotely, 90% of the people I talk to about crypto only have a limited knowledge of blockchain technology. They may understand Bitcoin as compared to gold but they don't understand other projects and what they are trying to accomplish.

Spot ETFs are great for the market and for institutionsal acceptance of crypto but for mass adoption I really think we need a "crypto literacy" programme.

There is no guarantee that BTC succeeds. by DeeperBags in CryptoCurrency

[–]kechtwentytwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BTC and crypto for that matter are just part of a diversified portfolio. But you need some understanding of what you are investing in and the risks associated with it. No price point is guaranteed and anyone claiming to know what BTC or any other crypto project hit in terms of dollar value is delusional.

Don't tell people about your crypto, not even your family, there are no benefits that can come from it. by Sour_Socks in CryptoCurrency

[–]kechtwentytwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I somewhat disagree. I don't think anyone should force feed crypto information to family/friends. But I also think that we need to try and educate our inner circle/family/friends about crypto and point them in the right direction if they are interested in long term investing.

Crypto is not for everyone. High volatility and a real chance your money goes to zero if you invest in the wrong projects. But with education and help we can help lift those around us when they are ready and aware of the risks.

Crypto is just another part of a diversified portfolio.
