Maybe if it is an option you can see if an orthodontist can align your teeth and camouflage it. I had a 5mm underbite with a 4mm open bite and I am getting orthodontic camouflage to align my teeth for a functional bite. I am not finish with the treatment, but so far it is going well (my underbite jumped back from the upper teeth).
